  1. I go twice a year, for business and pleasure. I go to Tokyo, Nagoya, Ota City, Osaka, and Tochigi.

Next Sept. I will go to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Saitama prefecture. When I go I always stay in Tokyo for the most part of the trips.

Good jean shops in Tokyo are in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Ueno.

You may want to visit visit Ginza and Omotesando Hills.

Also, I may go to Tokyo in late spring next year.

When will you guys go to Japan?

  2. If anyone goes to Nagoya, Japan check out the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology were you can see the shuttle looms they produced before automobiles.

They were Toyoda at the time but have their roots in the textile industry. We visted the exhibition hall last year. They also have automobiles there.

  3. They are all snug, I play tennis, swimm, football, and baseball.

Other words, I have big thighs and butt. :o

I tried them all on with size down but they were wayy too tight. I couldn't get them over my butt.

The guys at the store say they will shink at least an inch in the waist and three in the leg. So, I am ok. :)

It all depends on your body type and the fit you are comfortable with.

I also, pick up this cool shirt. :D

  4. Hello all,

    I have returned from Japan last week. I purchased three pairs of jeans;

Samurai Zero S5000VX, Flathead 3001, and Studio D' Artisan SD-001.

I hope the pic. shows the color variation between the models.

I purchase them at Americaya and Hinoya in Ueno and Americaya in Shibuya.

The guys at all three stores were very helpful and friendly. I was recommend to size up for the Samurai and Flat Head, two sizes up for the 3001 as they are slimmer fit.

True to size for the SD-001.

I also saw some Edwins in Shinjuku. I like the 503 but will wait till my next trip to purchase them.

If anyone gets a chance to vist Tokyo all three stores are easy to locate.

In addition Japan is a fun place to visit, everyone should go to Tokyo at least once.

I will return to Tokyo for Xmas and have all three hemmed at the stores.
