  1. Otherwise, I direct you to:

    Enjoy your western wear. lulz.

    Sheplers rocks, Ean.

Shopping here definitely sucks ('cept Sheplers), people around Cherry Creek all wear fucking terrible boot cut jeans (mostly True Religions, yuuuuuck), bars/clubs are generally lame (unless you're into awesomely trashy dives, ie Bar Bar), and the best local shows are usually in dirty warehouse venues.

I love Colorado anyway, though. We've got pretty mountains with excellent skiing, really good beer, and really good burritos.

  2. I just pulled the trigger on this jacket from Corpus. I'm waiting to try it on and see how it fits and feels in person (not to mention the color) before I decide whether or not to keep it. It should be here Thursday and I'm really excited.

I can't wait to see the paisley silk lining.

Corpus coats are so fantastic. I bought this one last year, and am still pretty much in love with it:

  3. stel's in boston, both the woman and the guy that work here are awesome, i wore a beat up pair of APC's in there last summer and she was yelling at the other worker that he had washed his too early. really friendly staff

I second this. Tina is totally awesome. They also occasionally have art shows here, which are always a really good time. They also like to support local bands. The whole store is just really relaxed.

I'll add Riccardi to this list as well. Everyone I've dealt with there has been super-helpful and friendly.

  4. Skip Boston. Ever since I moved here, I've been kicking myself for not applying to schools in NY. It doesn't have the sort of wild, fuck-everything attitude found in smaller US cities, but it also doesn't feel like a big city like NY or LA. So, basically, it's filled with people who act like assholes, but there isn't enough awesome shopping and cultural activity to balance it out.
