how do these vary? which is best for just shrinking denim, and which is best for actually washing away indigo and truly rinsing them?

I love to stack my RRDS, or my PRPS, but not too much. i think slimmer jeans are ok stackked, but to a very minimal extent.

I would recomend Nike SB dunks. you could find a great color way that is more "earthy" to fit your vintage gear, and they def look better with use. Or to do a 180 you can get Aldens.

So now that I am addicted to my indys, and my countless dunks and other over priced sneakers sit unworne (unless skate boarding), I am thinkign about the black cordvan ones.

here is the real question:

as you all have informed me the black indys come with leather soles, would it be possable to have the regular indy soles put on them, or other rubber ones?

take a look at the GQ forums. run a search for raw denim and you get 500 results. granted most people are into Nudie and such.. but still.

I find that Nudie being so much more main stream than other selvadge raw brands, that not only is it so much more popular / common, but it is a "gate way" denim to more unique stuff.

I have had selvadge jeans for years, but my first pair of raw were nudie, but now i have a lot more of the even less main stream stuff.

I know differnt types of polish has been disscussed here ad-nasum. However thanks to this thread i have been wearing my new Indys for like 3 weeks now. I have the darker color and I dont mind if it chnages with wear, but I dont want it to change du to the polish. So of all the polish that has been recomended here, which is best for my needs?

I have a filson doubble think bridal leather belt, not only is it awasome, but i think its also bullet proof. i also love my chrome hearts belt, but it was not worth the $$$$

I rock my Nudie RRDS one size up and after streching they are real low. how will the waist fit you after shrinking? wouldent they have to sit a little higher if they are smaller?

hey guys, my indys in the origonal color are lookign great after a week or ware. does anyoen have pics of cordivan indys? i know they only were made with a leather sole, but i want to see how they compare to the indys like miz and DDML have.

i love my indys but now i feel liek i need cordvan

Wearing them in any weather and in any place will give them the worn in look. Always clean your shoes with brush and cloth before waxing (though I wouldn't wax those Indys only apply some Pecards boot oil time to time).

grea tthanks! one more question, do i need to water proof them or put any thing on them before i start wearing them full time, or just that oil you recomend now and then?

this might be a dumb question but:

i am supposed to recive my indy boots this morning, but it is suposed to be a crappy rainy day here, should i take them out of the box and wear them any ways, or do i need to treat them befor they go in the rain?

i want a more worn in looking boot, but is it a bad move to go right to the rain?

my indys should be here this week and i cannot wait after how much so many of you have talked them up!!!

I am debating between ordering the S0110XJ and the S5000VX.

Normally i wear a 33 or 34 inch waist, but i dont like my legs too tight. BIG has the XJ is a 34 and a VX in 36. i know i need to shirnk these, but which do u think is a better fit since i dont want the legs too tight.

yes i am bigger than that. i get what your saing, i am fat... well at least i am working on it haha. i am a 33-34 in most jeans, but a 36 in my RRSD so i think i ordered the 95 to be safe

what do belt sizes 85, 90, and 95 translate into in US sizes?

besides my nudies all my other jeans are 34.
