Who did initially design the Dior Homme 19 and 21 cm? Was it Hedi Slimane himself?

I've ripped the knee of my 55 501s after using them like 5 days, any advice on how to repair them as invisible as possible?

Since it's no tufts between the rivets they are definatly post 55, but before 66 because of the hidden rivets.

511, however, I'd like to have them in raw selvage.

I wear a 33 waist 47 and a 30 waist 55, though the 55 is pretty tight, and I should probably wear them more often if they were a 31.

The texture of the denim looks just like my rinsed 66s, think it's how they look when they are washed a few times. And the wide cut of the legs are probably due to it's 40" wide waist.

Looks like 511, s/s 05, or 505. The coin pocket looks more like 505.

Bad repro, I've got two 501s from 47 and they're both 5 buttons. Actually the front pockets looks a bit wierd too, look for them at some other place before buying them.

Oh shit, I thought the Salt lake bum 501s were the extreme of bleaching. This is even worse.

Going to buy some evisus tomorrow, general hints of what to look for?

Tried some Diors yesterday, got disappointed since I didn't find any selvage. Do Dior make selvage denim?

yeah the sure didn't skimp, the rivets even have the little tufts of denim sticking out of them!

I really dig the tufts, it's like a reference to Levi's pre 55.

Think they are pretty hard to find these days, they where made in a limited edition (of 1010 pairs I think) for the LVC spring/summer collection 2006. Some stores might still have them in stock, if you are very lucky. I hope that they are reissued for the a/w collection 2007.

Awesome, the Levi's 501s from 66 is the best pair of jeans I own. I can assure you it's the same kind of jeans as your mother owned.

It's hard to guess which WESC-jean you are describing (probably Standard or Bruce), but it would be great if you could describe the denim more.

However, it's great that you have found WESC, their 13.25 oz ringspun selvage denim is awesome.

Does anyone know if dry cleaning affects dry denim at all?

I have a pair of those 1966 501s, awesome denim. They were made in a limited edition of 1210 pants. Actually I'm also looking for the 646, has anybody seen pictures of them? Raw?

Does anybody know when Diesel stopped doing selvage jeans? Which are the models to look for at Ebay? I would really like to have some Diesel jeans in my wardrobe, however I won't buy the crap jeans they sell today.
