and yeah, the disapproval is bizarre. Spike's mum (cantonese from singapore), despite really liking me, still has this ingrained thing that makes her disapprove of me for being from a working class/poor background, not being in the right social circles, being white, etc. S'fucking weird. It's in the old ass part of town in the artists' district, great funky shops, studios, etc. I went there today, and got 10% off some thermals. Their grand opening is this weekend, 15% off everything in store, also 50% off some things, DJ and maybe Dov Charney in some of those two-tone briefs!
