  1. Nice Italian made "hiking" boots (really just fashion mostly), but cool and unuaual boots. Come with extra laces, original box, bag, spoon, etc. Barely worn. the leather is distressed but in 8.5/10 condition. Sole is good too, but a bit dirty in the pics. Will consider trades or offers.

  2. Bart- 103's shrink up quite a bit IME. They have a low/mid rise so if they are tight on you now around the crotch and waist, I would really consider sizing up.

What is your waist size? Sorry if this was mentioned already.

Well, I went for it. They fit great and will be perfect after softening. I'll post some pics later of how I dried them :)

Who knows what my waist size is. Usually a 31 in most jeans fits right.

  3. Well, I may look into making some type of waist sising device then. I am a little concerned still, but maybe it will work. I agree I should soak first. I need to see what the length is going to do and to get my "wrinkles" int he right places. I will sell/trade these before doing anything if anybody is interested and willing to pay/trade a reasonable amount.

  4. Okay, here are some fit pics. Sorry for the delay. Again, these are Japanese market SD103s, raw, unsoaked, size 31. The waist is already pretty snug, so I am concerned about shrinkage when I soak. What say ye?

Unfortunately, it looks like Bears is not going to let me swap them out,so I either have to sell/trade them here or try and keep the waist stretched enough for fit.

    Thanks for any input.

  6. I have another thread that I strted, but it was suggested that I post my Skull update here. Great jeans. Here are a few pics inside and out. They are about 3 years old now, worn gently pretty much. They started out as special order 5010s in raw denim with Japanese markings. Repairs to knee, crotch, back pocket...

  7. I rise from the dead denim like a Pheonix!

Here are current pics of the Skulls. I ordered some new SDA103s to replace them, which I unfortunately had to put on the supermarket (well. I think I need to seell them - maybe I need fit advice). Anyway, here are a few pics of the Skulls and some repairs I have made. Great jeans.

  8. What do you want details of? I'll try to get fit pics up tonight. They look just like every pair of SD103s on rakuten. Flag tag on watch pocket, pigs pulling jeans apart, no rear pocket tag, 15 oz denim, lower rise and slimmer leg than most 501 repros. Seem beefier than my Skulls.

  9. Thanks, chan. I can get some pics up sometime.

I am worried about the waist. It fits good, but on the snug side right now. I knw when I soak, it will probably shrink 1" to 1.5" and unless I wore them until they were dry, I am afraid it would be a long and painful process getting them back where they need to be.
