Thanks!
There's no way I could have done any part of that if I hadn't learned so much from everyone in the last thread.

After following the last thread almost daily (RIP), I decided to finally give this a shot. Took a while, but I'm pretty pleased with it.
Wickett & Craig English Bridle - Medium Brown
Veg Tan Calf on the inside
Solid Brass Hardware
Unfortunately, I've already got some water stains on the back side, but thats life I guess. Still need to make the strap as well.

after a little digging, and knowing that onestar only uses irish linen.... this might be it:
http://www.royalwoodltd.com/cat14-17ar.htm
the spools he's showing look to be about the right size too.
if i'm totally wrong, onestar, please let me know.
also, do you mind giving a mini review on the thread? how waxy is it?

really great work from everyone on this page.
onestar, what thread is that? I've been looking for colors but have only found earthtones.

i just finished reading through this entire thread and am really impressed by how much everyone has created and improved.
i decided to finally try my hand at it by making a passport holder... 5 oz tandy shoulder... learned a lot making it and still have tons to improve on... especially the burnishing. i dont know how some of you do it so well!

I have to say right off the bat that I am really, really impressed by the quality you guys put out on a consistent basis. I've followed this thread and the other leather threads for some time now, and what I see continues to blow my mind.
I finally decided to try leathercrafting on my own and am ready to move past the practice/cheap leathers i initially bought. However, I'm having difficulty finding the exact leathers I want at the thicknesses I want.
Where are you guys getting thin w&c and hermann oak leathers? I'd love to use either one of their english bridle leathers, but they all seem to be 9+ oz. It looks like some of you are using stuff much thinner than that.

I wear these with pretty much everything except a suit or shorts regardless of the season.
My 8 year old Frye Harness boots
Are these the "Earth" color?

RRDS - 2.5 Years.... don't know exactly how long they were worn, but if i had to guess, it'd be a casual 14 months w/ numerous soaks and washes
picture taken on a very overcast day w/ crappy p&s... color is spot on though

I need to make myself a black belt for work, and I am curious if anyone in here has found rectangular center bar buckles that are taller than they are wide (a la the SC belt below in the Self Edge product pic)?
that's a garrison style buckle, hence the belt's name
though I think SC makes their own buckles, if you google "garrison buckle" you'll find plenty of places that offer similar things

My PBJ 003 cross-posted from the evo thread.

any fit pics of the 003's on or a full pic of the jeans themselves. im tempted to get those. i have to 005 but they are a bit too slim for my liking.0

those 003's are gorgeous. Didn't think you would get too much fading due to the fit, but they are really great. Lots of different colors running through there.
I'm a big guy and also sized down, so it fits fairly well. Still, they are too loose around the knees to get any great honeycombs.

How tall are you/did you get them hemmed? Legs look really short. Those nudies are looking nice though.
i'm 6'1", but have a 31" inseam... long torso, stubby legs
nudies look really dispraportionate because i bought them when i was 20 lbs. bigger and they stretched a ton on top of that. i can't wear them without a belt... and when i do, its on my hips... which is probably why my crotch is shot
i also have really thick legs... the 003s fit me like 005s

pics are blurry, but color is spot on
