Just ran across this dudes site, where he documents his traveling around Japan with the ever awesome Superfuture guide.

vintage frames are in but what happened to these? there's nothing even similar on ebay except those for fishing professionals. does anyone where one might be able to pick up those classic one piece flip ups?

never wore lrg, but always admired them for being a mildly creative "urban" brand that was smart enough not to fall into the same mess that similar brands did...ecko, phat farm...

you guys might not be in to this. i mean it's rather plain but here in the midwest we say pop when referring to a soft drink. so of course i think this is dope because it's simply gives homage to everyone from st. louis to minneapolis to chicago to cleveland.
here's some stats and a map on this cultural oddity:

dope. dope. dope.

well okay this isn't an unpopular fashion opinon per se (i would hardly pretend to have a "fashion opinion" that's for people in the know like the sartorialist), but as i read highsnobiety.com i realised that every entry save one or two had the "x" symbolising a collaboration in the title. alife x reebok. jhung yuro x prps. converse x mos def. converse x varvatos. visvim x fragment. i've had it with collaborations that give you nothing but colourways you could have painted yourself with a bit of effort. tell me, does a VSVM and a fragment logo on the same hoodie equate to the freshest and illest new collab on the block?
nobody ask me where the fuck i've been, i've just suddenly realised this collabs thing is getting crazy. they're going to go the way of designer denim.
you've written the truth.

is this in the right place? can we cover vehicles here? i'm not sure but don't have time to check or even see if anyone has already posted this. still, this is very dope and either way minya will make a wise decision.

what a very funny thread.
i wear mines ganxsta style with a glock in one hand and a severed limb in the other

If T-shirts were Italian restaurants, Threadless would be the Olive Garden.
now that's funny:D
it's hard to please everybody, ya know? i'm not so sure if threadless was meant to be like a trend setting label or just a design comp. still, it's easier to criticize/destroy than advise/re-build. kinda like it's easy to annihilate a country but harder to put it back together again...ahem ahem:D
i think as far as giving designers an opportunity to get certain types of designs out to the public, threadless does an awesome job. still, if they plan to be some sort of chi-town fashion house...they definitely have their work cut out for them.

there must be something wrong with my eyes but that tie looks green, maybe camo but not black

1. all of these things need to be over...right now.
fitted new eras & witty bandannas affixed around the neck
anything inspired by VH1 "I Love the 80s"
any clothing having to do with dipset, biggie, or wu-tang
abercrombie & fitch, hollister (especially in the midwest)
allover print hoodies
nut tight jeans
dirty white on white kswiss sneakers
cuffed jeans when worn with dirty chucks (beyond played out)
dunks, forces, maxs
limited edition streetwear ish
2. Someone should officially bring back the ascot
3. Gap is actually a dope store.
4. The world should admit that Vans are much better than Converse.
5. Ebay is the best clothing store on the planet.

whats the word on ties? in or out? who are we buying? this is a continuation of the post on skinnycorp/threadless tees and the question about their other company Naked & Angry. i think they have some dope ties. they're not inexpensive but hey maybe during holiday season. opinions, comments, criticisms?
here's what i gleaned off the site.
and yes, i do not work for skinnycorp/threadless...just midwesterngoodness.com
