Just picked up some ilford 400 high contrast black & white under the recommendation of the shop employee..

anyone have experience w/ this? i've never shot w/ "good" black and white before. just the c-41 kodak shit

ilford is the only B+W film I like...gave me better contrast and smoother grain than neopan...just ordered a few more rolls actually.

Worn once. Very nice, retails at over $300 (i think), payed $130 or something, but I don't feel like it fits my style. It has hidden snaps, so it gives a pretty clean line, but it's a little hairy, so maybe not for those afraid of texture.

Sizing is true on this one. Only worn once (my chest is actually like 42", so I couldn't button it). Its definitely older, but I'm not sure how old. Still very dark, minimal fading.

and did i make that zipper thing up? i always assumed a zipper would mess up if the denim around it shrank.

even though im not interested in those SCs, the presence of a zipper probably means theyre sanforized, meaning the leg wont shrink (much at least).

button fly (donut, but if not its fine)

hidden rivets

full selvage

chain stitch

but the main thing i would like to do is a different brand/denim that we havent seen as much. how about something like those lighter pbjs? what are they, XX-006?
