  1. Nah...all the tees that I liked they only had in a medium, which is a bit too small for me...Not a fan of D85 denim at all, they had a pair in the No.4 denim too but not to my liking...Loved the fit though on the Mainline black selvage jeans and am still tempted to go back and pick them up for occasions where good old faded blue denim ain't appropriate.

I'm going to be keeping an eye open over the next few days in case summat unmissable crops up, though!

Oh, and I think they had every style of EU jeans from the past five or six seasons!

Gonna have a scout round some of the outlying shops on my day off tomorrow, im me if there's anything you want me to keep an eye out for, I owe you for the heads up so it's no problem!

  2. You heading for the Arndale one mate? I'm right by the Bullring Tacky Maxx, which is the same size...just need patience to go through the stuff, and then a certain amount of luck as well. I've picked up some decent clothes and trainers from there.

The one by me has loads of Belstaff jackets in at the moment at around three hundred sheets a pop, some very nice stuff...

arndales is closest to where i work and probably best

no #13 in yesterday, decent no 5 but i have a real hard time getting past the daicock so i left em

i dont need the ones i got and have too many already, still working on sc from 3 years ago (45 on today), so left empty handed

    will check regularyly though ;)

  3. If they're the STF pair, they should shrink to tagged size......Presumably.

These are the ones they're pushing right now.

LMAO at the european equivalent of TJ Maxx, but you guys obviously get better shit.

yes, they're the ones i got

we do get some good stuff in but you have t live near a 'good' one and then it doesnt last long (so many aweful evisu in there, all the eu gear in dreadful washes and the daicock that goes all down the leg)

but whats this denim wear like?

fyi i have sc, sam, sda, lvc, oni, dope & drakkar among others

gonna go see if theres any no 13 in tonight or is this a waste of time?

they actually had some marked up as samples, anything to look out for?

  4. For those of you in the UK, TK Maxx have a lot of Evisu stuff in stock at the moment...jeans and tees from the Heritage/Mainline/EU ED lines.

Some of the stuff is current season, too. Saw and tried a black selvage denim pair of Mainline jeans...Not what I'd have normally liked, but well impressed with the fit. Managed to keep my wallet in my pocket though...

Tees were going for £20, jeans for £50.

This is a good heads up if you have a decent TKMaxx nearby

picked up a pair of no 1 special stf for 48 quid yesterday, no previous knowledge really and my first evisu, seems like the size should be ok (i hope) im a 32 and theyre tagged 32

anyone have any idea what i should expect?

  5. Fuck, that Levi's banner at the top of the page is starting to annoy me. I keep accidentally rolling over it.

and the side banner, repulsive and annoying at once

    someone else buy it quick

  6. dunno who he/she is but there's some good mixes here;

    edited

check out string theory, piano and soft rain.

also did one called vocal mix which was outstanding but it doesn't appear to be available anymore

oops seems i should have read the hot topic before posting, anyway check out a music blog, some one maybe going by the name lowlights?

  7. x post for the cane types here

    sc47.jpg

these 47s haven't stretched that much over the 16 months i've had them

although i'm sure you can tell they have always been a little big on me anyway, never thought they should be worn tight imo :)

  8. i have a pair of d-01 and they are big ol' jeans

admitedly they are a size up from my sc47s (the most loose jeans i have) but they are still a whole lot bigger

much more early 1900s work wear

i have no other sda experience though so it may be just that they are a little big on me ( i still like em though :) )

the waist fits o.k. but they are very loose all the way down to the leg opening which must be around 5 inches....

  9. could you also point out LHT/RHT please?

i may have missed out previously but i've never noticed anyone comment on the okis being LHT, or is it just common knowledge and i'm being stupid?

what else is LHT in the range (apart from the 45's of course)?

  10. these were my last denim purchase ( and my only 100% natural indigo jean) and they are stunning.

the colour is something else, very deep and with almost a green hue to it, the detailing (as talked about previously) is great too. the angled belt loops the hand stitched red circle, the cobrax uneven buttons, the subtle use of brown stitching, i could go on

everything about them is subtle and understated, they're no macho samurai thats for sure but a very authentic denim jean

they feel lightweight but jeans were lightweight compared to those we have now, the fit is very good too, i got a 30 raw (usually around a 31/32) and they are slim but have a nice gentle taper (similar fit to my dope & drakkar 1210s which are a 32).

    beautiful jeans!

  11. start is the shop that Brix E Smith (or whatever her name is now) runs (owns, whatever),

saw her on a tv programme the other night, she didn't come over too well

wonder why she dumped mark e.....

  12. on the map but no write up, a butcher of distinction on brick lane has nom de guerre if thats your thing.

Apart from that urban outfitters have apc remarkably and the uniqlo s000 that are kicking up a fuss are in both stores, they're a pair of £40 jeans, thats all i have to say on the matter.

American classics and interstate had the broadest range of 'interesting' jeans imo

was only there for a few of days though.....
