  1. Havent seen these talked about yet, but I see there's alot of you guys that wear slip ons

& thought you might like these.

They go for $37 and come in different colors, with a bit of philanthropy thrown in for an added bonus:

"For each pair of Toms Shoes you buy, the company will donate a pair to a child in need from Los Piletones, a small village not far from Buenos Aires, where the shoes are manufactured antisweatshop style."

  2. man, Acronym's got alot of integrity

the prices are probably worth it if youve got that kind of money

    which I dont

I guess you cant go much beyond what Arcteryx is doing in terms

of utility/technology. but aesthetics and the lack of prominent labeling

certainly makes Acronym the more appealing

  3. can anybody speak to the availability of the 'pattern recognition jackets' on hist. preservation ? I understand that the market demand in japan is stronger etc. and was

wondering if things sell out in the US as well etc etc.

*also if anybody feels like throwing up some photos of their repro crewneck I'd appreciate seeing how they wear.

    thank you

  4. This shoe used to come out in a synthetic material as recently as 2000 or so and now its all suede or leather which i dont feel gives the same finish / durability.

wearing some fuzzy suede 574's with camo bdu shorts isn't doin it. the material kind of damns the shoe to strictly casual./ fashion status.

I used to swear by navy 574s especially in the summer and im wondering if anybody knows whats up.

    thank you very much
