  1. One hot wash to begin, nine months of evening and weekend wear. These shots are pre-second wash. I was about five kilos over my optimum weight when these were taken. Since lost the weight and fits keeps on getting better.

I prefer these over my 55s. A nice complement to the Lee 1966 101Z.

Sorry, I can't work out how to insert image tags.

  2. The Big Mac® Long Sleeve Prewashed Chambray Shirt on the JC Penney website (look under workwear) is the classic style, 2 flap pocket work shirt priced at $24.99. Sure it's not going to be the same quality as some of the brands listed above. But has anyone any experience of this shirt? Is it cheap and nasty, or really good value?

  3. Wow there. Can we back up a minute. Having bought a couple of pairs of 811s recently through several proxy services, I'm keen to know more. What features exactly distinguish the real from the fake?

  4. I ordered a pair of Eternals on 12 June and quickly got an email from M saying to wait a week as he was going into hospital. After a month and then reading the posts above I got worried. I sent a few emails direct and got no reply. Then I lodged a dispute with Paypal and today, two days later, I got a reply from M and a very decent apology. He is back home and claims to be working through the backlog. We'll just have to wiat and see.

I'll keep you posted on my progress. I share the sentiments expressed above. From his past responses and serivces M gave every impression of being a thoroughly decent bloke.

  5. One of the earlier posters here recommended going for a bike ride in them. I concur. I bought my true size 34 but I'll be the first to admit I needed top lose a couple of pounds off my stomach. Gee, I was in pain for two days. But after 3 or 4 days, a good long walk and a painful bike ride, they stretched beautifully. I've had them now for 2 months and given them 2 washes. They are certainly unforgiving to the fuller figure. The slim cut suits a slim person. They are encouraging me to get in better shape.

If you like a jean that is mid-rise and slightly narrower in the leg than a typical straight jean, then these are a good bet - perfect for deseart boots and other ankle boots.
