Not really sure where to post this, but I found these deadstock "Made in Great Britain" levi's cords the other day.
Probably fake, Googling turns up no results.
Can anyone shed any light? Thanks!
Pics:
Levis had 2 factories in Scotland up until the very late 90s/early 2000s

Bog standard 501s. They were about £60 in Selfridges 7 or 8 years ago.
heres another pair http://buyeng.ebay.com.hk/buying/hk/display/140549239976_Levis-Vintage-Clothing-YUMA-INDIAN-FIGURE-Limited-Lvc-
I'm sure there was an equally appalling pair where the Indian was replaced with an electric guitar.

There's a few new bits and pieces on Hanon Shop. The 1922 501 and a blanket lined Type II jacket. There's also another little price hike to £223 for the jeans and £311!! for the jacket.

And yes, the selvage looks strange, no idea why, I don't recall seeing this on originals.
Its a selvage that LVC have used before. These are the wife's 1947 from 1999

Those 1944s look great.
I am still looking for a pair of 555 ones tho. Would swap a kidney for a pair.
I have 2 pairs. I prefer the 2005ish ones with the striped pocket lining if I'm honest.

My wife has that "Boogie Woogie" tee. Wears it all the time.
Ha. Mine too.
I have the look book for that season. If I could use my scanner I would upload it.

I've had a look at both 1947 and 1954 "Rough Rinse" today.
Both have tags behind the laundry instruction tag with Made in Turkey.

possibly a 1944 model? in which case arcs were painted anyways
I have had 1947s that the arctuates come undone. A 1944 would have S501 on the patch anyway.

Chimp in Leeds (UK) has a few bits and pieces.

On 2nd inspection I think they are Roaring Pride. The Sproul are much paler.
Incidentally google images for "lvc 1955 roaring pride" shows Paul T's 1901s.

I think they were called "Sproul" They would be 2007 or thereabouts.

Its from http://atoo-online.blogspot.com/2010/06/levis-vintage-clothing-aw10.html
I think the non-denim is quite strong.

Considering the recent price hike the one wash 47s and 66s for £139 seem OK.

Fortunately I stocked up on a cone 47 a couple of months ago.
I have got my eye on this 40s fishermans jacket from AW10.
