well i can barely fit in 2 fingers. same with all my other shoes (and some of my friends), but the heel in this one slips.

do u think the sole needs to flex out of its sturdiness because its a boot?

i have a pair of roll top timberlands (i know they dont match up to pbj 8310's) but they feel strange, a little loose.

forcing my toes towards the tip of the shoe, i could fit 2 fingers stacked between my heel and the back of the boot, so there's quite a lot of space. most sites say 1 finger, some 1.5, while boots for skiing say 2 fingers.

the problem is, is that i need to slightly grab the boots with my toes while walking, so they seem too big.

my question, how many fingers between heel and boot? and what can i do to make them less large-feeling? or is all of this part of breaking in?

AH your highschool days are making me jealous! I dream of going all out crazy, pregnating teenage girls and all, but I seem to be trapped in this cage. I live an STEREOTYPICAL ASIAN life. Study. okay so i just started getting into this jean addiction. I bought my first STF about two months ago and wore it maybe everyother day. Right now the results are bleh, probably for a couple of reasons. I SHOULDVE gotten them my true size, cuz they are too relaxed, so whiskers,etc. didnt form well.

I'm going to wear them through summer, beat em up. but I also want to start a new, better qualtiy denim.

I have about 160$ What dry, raw, denim is around that budget but good quality? I searched by the way, but i wanted to know what was good around that budget AND as a second raw jean (to a kind of experienced person)

but do u think levi's instructions account for the extra stretching after the shrink, as most people here who wear raw denim wear them for months without wash? My first stf was waist 33, and after the wash, it didn't shrink nearly as close to my other 32 jeans.

Also a nice contrast is desirable, so if its too big, a cold soak and then another extra hot soak? That would disturb the contrast and sheen huh
