LVC 1947 no soak no wash - 3 days of wear. Jeans are size 34w x 32L

5'8" 170lbs.

Why don't you soak them?

i washed my jeans (machine wash), crease come back at the same place after you wear them for couple days. I didn't wear my jeans so hard.

are there any model that used the same technology ( maximum fading) as they used in S0500XX ? i never had taper leg jeans before.

Thinking about buying a pair of APC Hipsters (faded black) since they're on sale on APC's website. I'm usually a 29 or 30 (29 in Nudie & Iron Army, for example). What size would be right for me in Hipsters?

i don't have nudie and Iron Army. So it's not easy to answer you. I have actual waist of 31 and Hipster 28 fits me good. pretty snug in the thigh area.

totally off the topic but how do you know your jeans need a wash?

not interm of smell or dirt but in the sense of indigo loss and contrast of fading.

They are S0500XX. they do sell these jeans. I think you still can get those from japan with the same lot number (Lot# 9). Still don't know why there is no serial number in Lot#10 since this model is a limited edition.

I stoped by BIG yesterday for S0500xx. On the leather patch, it shows Lot# 10 (a guy in BIG confirm that it is Texas S0500XX. My question is why Lot# are different from what you guys are wearing (Lot#9). Are they the same denim? Do they use the same technology (maximize tension to get maximum Atari)? Why no serial number? Since this is a limited edition and i saw most of you guys here have serial number after lot number.

I assume that S0500XX fading faster than APC or Nudies, right?

I do think PRPS rinse slim cut do nice eventhough they are not selvedge.

They don't have small size though so i don't have them.

come to think of it you may want to consider some imperial kings..i'm not sure how they fit in respect to some SSDS'...i'd do some reading up in the imperial denim thread though

and 90 minutes is a good start on a soak. it varies though. samurai denim will need more than apc, because its heavier/slubbier. slubby means bumpy and unprocessed, made on a shuttle loom.

APC are sanforized they don't need any soak!!!

you can use your finger, but I'd just use a clean old rag. dab first until the patch is convered, and then rub. If it's sueded, do not rub, it'll get all funky looking.

i went to the mall and picked up a pair of these as my first pair of japanese selvedge

denim. ill post pics of me actually wearing them tomorrow when the light is better. Like everyone has been saying, they fit quite big and i had to size down. Id say the fit after i sized down was like a modern 501 STF but just a TAD wider.

I love the smell of febreeze. Sometimes i just don't have enough patient to wait and end up with fuck up my jeans.

Is it possible to stretch them back after wash. i used to have the same problem on no name jeans. I could stretch them back to almost the same length before wash.
