indeed, my knowledge may be lacking an appreciation for these undiscovered anti-treasures. but what it does incorporate is the periodic difficulty in achieving defined whiskering in nuthuggingly tight jeans, as documented throughout this forum.

i wouldnt really say that is a complete explanation, the reason vintage jeans have such intense whiskering sometimes is because they are not skin tight. its just about creating tension in the fabric, and since there is much more overall tension in a tight fighting jean there is less of a difference in the whiskers themselves, as less of a crease is created. it sounds like they are just very snug fitting, meaning fading around the knee bulge will be intense and immediate compared to the 'waise/crotch' area.

Love the work, was wondering if you could make me a card case much like the last natural and inner-windowless one you posted,( ie just the one fold, couple card slots, very simple and thin), but with a grommet or loop to attach a braid to. i am basically looking for the mid sized wallet you make but without a buckle and any superfluous compartments that make it thicker, but retaining the ability to attach it to my pants. please let me know if youre willing to help me out.

thats probably a good rule of thumb (Edit: 1 size down). mine are a 30, which is the smallest size id typically buy for myself. i think theyre like 3 and a half years old? probably only worn solidly/consistently for about two years though but i cant say exactly.
