His performance in fear and loathing in las vegas is the best i've seen him. So talented.

Blimey, this stuff is great. The grey trousers and shirt are fantastic. Have to see what they have in Paris..

I ordered a size 31/ 36 (OD Black Stretch) from caliroots becuase it was the only waist size they had. If i wanted them really tight i could have gone for a 28 but the elasticity in the hips hold them in place. And they have the tight/slouched appearance of the dior 05 look, so i'm happy with them. My waist is generally a 30 in most jeans, that might have been better but i'm happy with these, a little put off by the spandex but its not noticable to the stranger and its the fit that counts. They're not as tight as i thought, particularly in the lower legs, but i have very skinny legs and that was actually in the cut that i was after.

Yeah I do, got my cheap mondays through today and definitely could have done without the 2% spandex.

You can pick up the repro goggles from Jungle in Covent Garden, easy. They sold Anakin Skywalker his, apparently.
These days I wouldn't recommend it for much else, though.
Addendum: They come in about £30.
They have a bunch of old shoes and erm, some sailors uniforms. If your like that sortof thing.

Hmm, all of the above not so easy to acheive! If you're looking for independantly designed stuff/ vintage i'd head to Portobello, Brick Lane, Camden, and Kings Road maybe?
If you're looking for the pure punk scene in london, Camden is the central, aslo Brixton. Have a look on ticketing sites to see what bands are playing when you go.

They've run out of these on the A.P.C. site, does anyone know if they'll be restocking?

Anyone?

If you're in Islington you should try this on a saturday night: http://www.feelinggloomy.com/
It's ironic nightclubbing, meant to be a really good laugh.

I've ordered some Cheap Monday Overdyed Black jeans to cushion my lust for some Dior Hommes (i'm skint). I was going to get the Raw version, but becuase of the shitty material I ended up not.
The material is really soft, and therefore they don't bunch very well. My plan is either do a full wash in soluble starch, or to soak the bottom half, or the whole of the jean a starch solution in order to get some rigidness which would enable them to bunch better.
Does anyone have any experice with this, or have any preconceptions of whether this is a good/bad idea. What do you guys think?
Cheers.

Um, old blue last and cargo don't. Clubby clubs generally have a no trainers policy but I think youre generally safe if youre wearing dark shoes.
Fabric is a good club if you're into drum n bass. http://www.fabriclondon.com/

Really good list from Sybaritical, totally reccomend Cargo. Theres lots to do in Camden town, from the station head towards the lock and theres Lock17 directly on your left, head further up and theres a string of bars (inc. the Bar Fly) and some clubs dotted about.
This seems to be popular with the indie hipsters on a tuesday: http://www.whiteheatmayfair.com/
[edit] Oh I forgot to say, at all costs avoid Leicter Square and that part of central london in the early hours of the morning. It's total hell.

we're a shop based in Dublin, can't wait to receive the AW collection in the next month. We will be getting Hoboken - No wash...amazing denim!
Ahh, I tried to find you on the web, you were mentioned in an emailed reply from Julian Red.
How do we contact you, in future?

Following reading this thread, I went into Zara in covent garden, London, and they had nothing... no skinny black jeans, no skinny jeans. I asked but the assistant new of nothing. Is this new stock only happening in US stores?

So you have the raw version? Why did you choose this over the overdyed black? Is the fit different?
0 -
Surely is the same construction as the overdyed black... just unwashed? So if i was to break them in they would be practically identical.

Thats all I read about it man, why though?

Hi guys, yes i've searched and not alot has come up.
So, i'm considering buying some cheap monday raw black jeans becuase I want something that is slightly stiffer, and something which will create wear marks.
From the looks of the pictures they also to be slightly more roomy than the overdyed tight black, which is a good thing.
So who's had some real experience with these jeans... what is the thickness of the denim, will I have to size down?
Thankyou.

Their choice of models for the runway show is really odd IMO. I thought they would have used skinnier models rather than the average/ muscular build.

I'm still after the grey shirt from last season, anyone know anywhere to get it? (London or online)

Really, thats interesting. Why do you say that? The main thing that i don't appreciate on the Powell is curvature in the hips, when a more 'box fit' top area would have been more suitable. If i were to get them tapered it would look odd becuase of that.
