I wear 26 for APC Petite Standard (good fit), 26 for Nudie Grim Tim (which I find it too tight, should size up to 27), what size should I go for WeirdGuy ?

Bought a pair of NS sz28, my true waist abt 28-29, my shop guy told me it will shrink 1 to 1 1/2 inch after wash? But after I read the posts, you guys recommend 2 sizes down, which means I should get a sz 26 instead of sz 28?
