i think it's around 16-20 oz. jersey knitQuote:
Agree on number of screens involved, and on the plastisol for the black on white jacket. Hadn't considered the weight ( how many ounces is that fabric, btw.) Still think that the white/cream/gold on black is discharge though.Quote:on the first design there is 5 screens involve, it has to be plastisol, there is no way water-base ink could look that solid on those kind of heavy weight knit: all together there is possibly 5 screens, 1 for each sleeve, 1 for each side of chest, and one big one for the back. the grfx artist have to design and cut the design precisely for the front to look seamlessly and the back is just by it self, the embroidery is apply to it after the print is done.
i seen a similar design like it before. can't think of the name right now, will update tonite

for the full color tiger could be a technique called sublimation where as you creat a poster size of print and transfer the deisgn onto garment, the color will stay on the garment as if it belong to it, have a really smooth surface and it wont fade after wash

actually i met some one like that before, he job is to help compnay steer into the direction of the ideal market. when i spoke to him he was helping a beer company to reach a broader base of consumer.
ptretty much if you have the balls, you could walk into any company and tell them you are a consultant and if they need your service what not, but than again, if thats your route yo have to be able to bring it to the table.
or you could some what study your way into be a trend forcaster, there is several agency that does trend predition, WGSN, Here And There, pantone....etc etc etc.
coming up at the end of this month there is a market week going on down at the california mart. over there you could find publication on trend predictio, perhaps you could come down and see for your self.
to me personaly, trend prediction comes within, and you are pretty much a self made man, so good luck.

thats why i ship everything fedex....so much better, and if u ask usps, they won't know shit, maybe they hold up your batch of shipment because they thought there is something suspicious and due to home land security they get to wack the entire batch just to find nothing and waste our tax money. but i'm sure you will get your back pack....

yes i saw that, and i know thats the back.............Quote:It was posted in the Sugarcane denim thread...
That lace-up part is actually the back, and if you look closely, you'll see that the jeans are made from 2 different kinds of denim (notice the different selvage edges)...
