I was in Singapore a couple of weeks ago (on a 1 month sabbatical) and I had packed my Nudies RR and Edwins Rainbows.....dry/raw selvedge is not suitable for that weather....I dies trying to wear them out...besides, I like to keep my jeans raw i.e. not have to wash them but dry clean once every 6 months....I wear my jeans twice a week on weekends as (I can't wear jeans to work) and I have a choice of APC, Nudies, Maharishi, Edwins, pluc I am in London so the weather here is fine for raw selvedge...but in Singapore....fugetaboutit.....

Anyway, if you are a denim freak then check out the Visvim range at Surrender....raw selvedge, high quality for S$450....when I was there I heard that peeps were freaking out over Neighborhood jeans (not necessarily selvedge)....I picked up APC (Le Anglaise) in Singapore but a mate had picked it up for me in New York.....I guess there is a momentum in Singapore now for raw/unwashed denim but the weather is prohibitive....the denim does smell at the end of the day...... icon_smile_sad.gif

Guys, APC made in Macau leh ..... but reasonable price lah .....

If budget allows and you fit well in them, Dior Homme's the pair to go, in my opinion .....

Nope. I dont think TR has any vintage cuts. Most of them are boot cuts.

Also the pockets are very unique as in both the back pockets have flaps and buttons! The front coin pocket as a flap and a button as well.

Mine is destroyed joey. Low Waist... thigh part is fitting.... bottom of jeans is flare around 26cm flare for a size 30 jeans(which is in fact around 32++ waist).

remember that TR jeans are meant to be worn low waist so a size 30 will bring u a 33 waist and so on.... ironically i found it to be abit loose...

Agreed. I got a size 30 Raw Joey as well. I would say that the waist is quite loose for a size 30. Oh btw the bottom is twisted.

I just needed to have a pair of TR cause I love those Flap pockets on them! whahahaha. Wondering what I should get next??

    deh, IT'S A FAKE !

But a pretty good one, yeh ..... I suspect it comes from China.

    1). The waist tag color is SO different from my 2 EVISUs (1 No.2 & 1 No.3).

2). Colour looks a bit too ordinary.

    3). The 2 "hand-painted" designs are definitely a give-away. Paint-manship is too lousy.

4). The stitchings are very good, but having 2 authentic pieces myself, I find them a little wierd, especially the front-left.

5). Denim material a bit light weight.

6). The selvedge seams & coin pocket selvedge looks very different. This piece has a selvedge that looks like those from the Euro collection (half red hale white). BUT from what I know , Japanese models, especially this one,l do not come with such a seam! I'm no expert in selvedge, but I also find it looked funny (again).

A 'Japanese made' featuring a Euro version selvedge looks, yes, funny to me!

As EVISU now makes some of it's collection in China, I think they only have themselves to blame if more of such things surface to the market.

So I'd say, save the $205 & go buy a good pair of APC or Sugarcane. A No.3 also not bad!

Oh I decided not to get those vintage cut jeans already.

Recently bought a pair of True Religion.

there's one from rakuten that looked quite different. I have a feeling the one you saw may be fake. Later I'll go to FEP to satisfy my curiosity ..... icon_smile.gif
