Update on my now 7 months old Evisu.

Not soaked or washed yet, but they are getting really filthy, so i might have to wash them soon.

Fabric is starting to break as always after 6 months of raw wear, so they have got some more repair jobs seince last time i showed them here.

I want to wear them for about 3 more months before the first wash, to get them more contrasted wear.

looks great except for twisted spokes are the worst (or maybe that's crow's foot.. the pic is weird, but i'm not a huge fan of how that looks either).

is that frame all original? i've only seen one 3rensho in my size ever and it went for way too much.

The 2000 model is a bit more slim than 501. especially ifyou buy no1 denim.

Theese are on the edge to breaking everywhere, so i might put them away and focus all on my other pairs.

it shows that wearing the jeans for a long time without washing in machine, is the best way in my opinion.

Better to save the machine wash until you have some serious fade, otherwise you only wash out indigo

I only regret not soaking them before i started wearing them..

The fabric become so brittle after 1yr +, almost like toasted bread..

But it´s fun to fix them. makes them get more character.

Decided to throw in my almost 2,5 year old Evisu Japan in the washing machine for the first time.

They were soaked 3 times during 2.5 years.

Pre wash

Looked like they had a lot of loose indigo, that washed away.

waiting for them to dry now, post wash pics will come tomorrow.

the denim is not very dark. not as dark as no2.

also. not as heavy.

but they do fade good and quite fast.

i would however say, that i prefer no2 denim from japan. over theese.

theese do not become green/yellow as the no2 always become for me.

Just some personal thoughts.

You guys are washing it toooo much, my experience with jap evisu no1 is yamane colorfast denim, and are not supposed to fade fast. they are supposed to keep dark for a very long time.

If you wash no1 to often they will only turn out blue, with not especially sharp fades.

after 3 machine washes, i doubt they will look extreme at the end.

My guess is that they only will have slightly faded lap areas. and maybe some wallet fades on back pockets.
