Tanner natural leather belt. Bought it... i dont even remember, 4-5 years ago?

Probably due to be cleaned soon, haven't ever cleaned or oiled it.

Anyone have an opinion on H&M coats? Particularly their pea coats.

I bought an H&M peacoat in 2006 and it's still going strong, the only thing is that some of the buttons fell off and needed to be sewn back on; aside from that though, it's in great shape and still looks pretty good.

For example, the SCVS013 has a hackable, 23 jewel MIJ auto movement, sapphire crystal, skeleton case back, and for the Alden crowd, a black cordovan strap. Really don't think you can do better for $294 shipped.

Absolutely. I cannot recommend the Seiko Spirit line enough. I own an SCVS013 and just for example, in the past week, it has gained 4 seconds. That kind of accuracy is hard to beat, ESPECIALLY at the $300 price point. Though I didn't really like the Cordovan strap, I ended up replacing it with a leather aviator and ss butterfly clasp.

since you're in toronto, it'll probably be the same as it was for me. i ended up redoing grade 12 after i only got into york the first time. that extra year fucking sucked, but i ended up getting into all of the schools/programs i wanted to.

seeing all your friends going off to universities and having a lot of fun was enough motivation for me to not fuck around when i was trying to raise my top 6 grades. and don't worry, unless you're applying to a super competitive program, they're not going to hold the extra time against you.

Bought a pair of Vans Prison Issue Low's and I've been breaking them in, but has anyone had this issue where the metal loop, that the velcro goes through, pushes down on your toe when you walk?

I have a huge red blister on my toe from this after two days and I don't think any amount of breaking in is going to help. Any solutions? Return and size up, maybe?

H+M had polos last summer for like 12 bucks. the epitome of plain polos, no extraneous details, appliques, anything. the drawback, of course, was that they shrunk like crazy, to the point where i can't even wear them at all anymore. i hope they carry them again this year, ill be sure to buy a full size up. they were perfect.

I picked one up last week, plain white. They seem to be a lot bigger than they were last year, maybe they took shrinkage into account?

I've been a little disheartened about this one after there was a slight accident involving it and my gf, in which some KY was spilled all over the left half (I wish I was kidding) and caused it to darken rather strangely. It's more apparent in person than it is in the picture.

I'm kinda tired of very slim / tapered denim, my New Standards and Slim Jims haven't seen a lot of wear lately. I've been sticking to a pair of Straight Sven's and my Imperial Dukes lately.

Anyways, I'm looking for a new pair of raw denim in a (not too) slim, straight cut. Should I get the APC Rescue or PBJ XX-006? The 006 definitely looks nice, but I think the fit may be a little too loose, especially with a 9" leg opening. For reference, I'm 5'7" and 136lbs.

Maybe even the XX-005 sized up?
