Eek!
Well, I am planning to stop and see some of the sights, that's why I'm getting a Global Eurail pass. If you had any sort of idea how long these train rides take (meaning from, lets say, capital to capital), that would be great.
I have a friend in Zagreb who's hosting me for a weekend, which is why Croatia is the final destination.
Then again, I do have the option of going up (toward Denmark) or to France again, so really, I'm open to suggestions.

Hi,
I'm landing in Berlin on Sept.15 and from there hope to take Eurail through Slovakia to Croatia.
I haven't been to this part of Europe before and my main concern is time-management. I have also never taken Eurail and am not sure how much time is spent travelling between countries.
Can anyone help me out with this, or give some sage advice?
Thank you!

I love Luxor. Treasure Island is good too.
Whatever you do, do NOT stay @ Circus Circus. *shudders*

Any Thai place will pretty much be cheap and GOOD for that matter. If you want really good espresso and amazing desserts, I would recommend Citizen Cake on the corner of Gough and Grove downtown.
It isn't cheap, but if you're just going for coffee and a slice, and amazing architecture / atmosphere, this is def. the place to go.

Not that I go around jumping in mud puddles or anything, but can you guys recommend a good cloth/polish/brush/whatever for cleaning leather and suede? Tips too?
thanks

Do you guys feel weird about buying shoes at a thrift store? sometimes I see interesting shit but I get grossed out. Or do you guys have any advice about cleaning them once you get them home?

englandmj7, Solistik you guys are looking amazing, Witts ofcourse too. I think it's great we have this thread because in a way you are learning about how to dress or wear your clothes, plus it is eye candy and that's always nice too

I would definately go with a Vaio, but again it depends what you want to do on the computer....I usually go for memory over graphics, but that's just cause I like to store a lot of shit on there, and am not into gaming. I really appreciate a large screen, but then again, the new Toshiba line is really pretty....

Maybe a pea coat from London Fog? Nordstrom has them right now, here's a link. I just picked one out for a friend while we were shopping the other week.
