that's probably because that's a duffle coat.
herringbone cloth. might be wool even, i'll have to check. he did it in pinstripe, among other suit fabrics.
xcoldrex, is your jacket one of the Watanabe x Goldwin colabos? Either way it is a really nice jacket. Mr. Watanabe knows what he is doing.

They come up on yahoo japan but people ask a lot for them -- like $400 a lot. It looks like they are going to do them again SS07:

Yeah, I meant the Found book. I'll try to find the time to scan and post some images from the book this weekend.

There is a exhibit at LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibits) that is worth checking out if you are interested in denim:
http://www.artleak.org/cianciolo.html
Cone Denim gave fashion designer/artist Susan Cianciolo access to their mills in North Carolina, which she documented, and let her make clothes out of denim remnants that she found at the mill, some of which are 100 years old. The clothes are at the exhibit and its pretty cool to see denim that old up close.
They have a lusciously printed freebee catalog from Cone Mills that documents a large stash of demin work wear from the 1930's through the 50's that someone found in an attic that is definitely worth grabbing a copy of.

Wow, he is a dog. He must be a volunteer friend, not a professional model. I couldn't get past him to look at the clothes.

There has been a paradigm shift here at superfuture. poliopoliopolio, you are showing us some really really really good outfits.
Is that mold on the shoe that doesn't have the owl? .

You might have better luck tracking down this information on thefashionspot.com
More ladies seem to lurk there.
I think Neil Barrett womenswear is really good stuff, by the way.

Why not just dump her and date a boy who is into clothes?

Witts, I'm loving the Brokeback Mountain vibe. darkanimal, good job, you pulled together a sensuous, agressive, and seductive outfit. MilSpex, the only problem I ever have with your outfits is that you wear your shoes on the tatami mats. Oherwise you never let me down. Haptronic, have you been working out? Your arms are looking buff.

The old Wranglers with the curved stitched line at the bottom is pretty nice.

Has anyone ever shopped here?
I'm thinking Rusty looks kind of cute:

I have a pair of the 11MWZ 1950's Wrangler jean repros and a the 1950's denim jacket with the zipper, both repros made by Edwin. Neither of them show the selvage, but I discovered when I shortened the jeans that the fabric is indeed yellow line selvage, the jeans were just made in a way such that the selvage was folded over and hidden. On the jacket if you peel the fabric back at the zipper you can see that they used yellow line selvage.

This is the kind of thread a guy like me can really get into.

I would like to state for the record that leasing is like the fountain of youth. As soon as the car starts to age you get a new one, no fuss no muss. Yeah to leasing! I would also like to state for the record that Lexus makes a fine car that never breaks down, and the new ones are looking pretty sexy. I can't get used to the new dolphin looking BMW's. I miss the old briefcase looking BMW's.

MOCA, LACMA, and the Getty Center are museums.
Here are some good galleries to check out:
Big ones:
Acme, part of the Mid Wilshire gallery complex. There are a few other adjacent galleries that are good and a few that stink. If the Kirsten Everberg show is still up at 1301EP upstairs from Acme you should have a look.
Lace
Gagosian. The big guns show here.
Smaller galleries that are good:
Sandroni Rey @ 2762 S. La Cienega Blvd plus a few more around it.
Sister Gallery, some more across from Chung King
Galleries across from the brewery in Santa Monica.
There are many more. I'll try to post some more later.

Breakfastheatre, I accept your apology and welcome you back to the forum.

Witts, it looks like you only have one jar of vaseline on your shelf today. You used to always have two jars. What do you do with all that vaseline?

andrewfuncrew, I'd like to give you a double thumbs up both for your style and for your cute face. I particularly like the old school Curt Cobain style rip in your jeans.

I'd like to find a nice slim fitting white t shirt as well. I find Hanes to be cut more size fat than slim fit.

It doesn't seem like such a stupid question to me. This is a shopping forum more than just a fashion forum, and adoption is a form of shopping.
