I just measured my APC Petit New Standards in 29 and they're about 32" in the waist. I'm not sure if I should go with a 32? AFAIK I'm a 31 in most other bottoms (W+H chinos for example).

I'm interested in picking up a pair of the Black Marias - do they stretch much at all? I'm usually a 31 in most jeans, 29 in APCs. I'm wondering if I should go TTS or 1 size down (30) with the greasers for a slightly slimmer fit.

While I'm ranting, I also hate things like that application check that uncle allan has on his website. You have to tell every single detail, the size and the spot, than you might be blessed with the opportunity to pay him a lot of money. After all, it's the input and collaboration with customer and artist that makes a tattoo good and why you got to those guys and not the dingy place around the corner.

Damn, the popular artists just don't seem to reply their emails. I really like Yarnell's work but 2 weeks and two emails later, still no reply. I'll be in London in about a month. I'm also trying to get something set up with Maxime Buchi, but I think he'll be away during that time.

Do you (or anyone else) know how long the waiting time/how far in advance you'd have to book with yarnell? 

I just sent him an email about exactly that, waiting for him to get back to me.

was walking home last night when i heard some screaming coming from my building. i saw something land fast and really loud about 40-50m away from me, and when i ran to look at what it was i saw a woman lying there with her head split open. her face was gone from the nose up. bits of brain and flesh all over the concrete pavement. apparently one of the domestic helpers in my building decided to jump. the cops came and there was a bit of a commotion. i felt sick to my stomach so i went home to sleep.

the next morning i walked past that spot and it was all cleaned up, no yellow tape or anything. the pavement was clean, and people were just walking by, oblivious to what had happened the night before. there was even a car parked right next to where she landed. if i got home just 5 minutes earlier, i wouldve been completely oblivious too, and that kinda bothers me. ill never look at that spot downstairs my house the same way again.

but honestly i don't know how to feel about it, besides replaying the entire incident in my head over and over again today at work i haven't had any adverse reactions.

anybody have experience with a herniated disk?

i just got an MRI scan and am waiting for the results, but i am 99% sure i fucked my disk up - i went back to the gym after a month-long break and deadlifts hurt like fuck.

Hey guys, I basically do not get acne anymore but I have acne scars and blemishes from when I was younger. What's a good way of dealing with these?

if you're referring to red marks left from acne (hyperpigmentation), you can try:

- retinoids (tazorac, retin-a, retin-a micro)

- AHA products (e.g silk naturals 8% toner)

- vitamin C serums (many swear by DIY)

- chemical peels (e.g MUAC's TCA peel)

- niacinamide products (e.g eltaMD uv clear)

if you're olive skinned or darker, it might take longer to fade them marks as compared to fair caucasian skin. remember to keep sunscreen on to avoid the darkening of your red marks.

if you're talking about pitted scars, you might want to look into fraxel, dermarolling, co2 lasers.

i am on the fence about these. anybody have any experience with them yet?
