go to Corso di Porta Ticinese, you can find good shops there like Purple, Par 5, Frips, Stussy, Carhartt... there's also a slam jam store near to that avenue, with brands like acronym, visvim, head porter plus, prps etc. Then you should move to the beautiful 10 Corso Como (name and address of the shop), with galliano stuff, fred perry x cdg, margiela and such things. it's just wonderful, with great design names also. moreover if you come during this week there's milan furniture fair with a lot of collateral events and parties located all around the city in somenthing like 2-300 spots.
said this, i see you'r from a'dam...i'm going there for a week for the queensday next week...can you recommend me some good spots over there? not only shops, but also clubs, pubs, architectural spots, etc...thanks a lot, have a nice trip!!!

i wear a 10 in vans...i have a pair of tst bought on the bay size 43, and they run a little big for me, so i guess they're usually bigger...a 41 will surely not squeeze your foot imho, but it depends on how you use to wear shoes... therefore, i'm not guilty for anything!!

would definitely go for mac if i could, but i'm forced to use a pc due to the lack of 3d modelling stuff on macs... macs are much more stylish and functional imho...the only thing i can do is edit the desktop of winXP to make it look like panther, hehehe...

imho white socks are horrible. paul smith ones are great, or go for Gallo, an italian brand (without website, gosh...) with wonderful colours and patterns and also an amazing quality. every single sock has to pass 9 quality checks before reaching the shops. and of course super-fine materials

mmh i don't think they could be "played out"...i live in italy, ok, and it's completely different here, but nobody knows supra footwear or even chad muska...how could they become played out? they are however a "niche" shoe, i think. rather than played out, they're gonna become a very nice shoe known by few, IMHO

maybe it's a stupid thing but i didn't find it anywhere else... http://www.utilityboardsupply.com/ pre-orders the muskas saying they're gonna be available from thursday...can't wait for somebody to check the sizing!

men i...ehm...purchased the album ten days ago and i keep on listening to it...it's really great i think. it's going on with the path started by silent alarm, but still playing with new sounds. i like the fact they tasted the mainstream but they definitely didn't follow it...with all the thousands of new bands growing like mushrooms all over the world, i think they're one of the few that are really bringing something new to music. and i also think they're going to become a great band.

wow so many...in no particular order:
radiohead @ piazza castello - ferrara 2004
radiohead @ arena di verona 2001 (i think)
pearl jam @ arena di verona 2006
the strokes @ turin traffic festival 2006
franz ferdinand @ paladozza - bologna 2005
archive @ rainbow club - milan 2006
chemical brothers+soulwax+moby @ flippaut festival bologna - 2005
chemical brothers @ assago forum - milan 2005
bloc party @ rolling stone club - milan 2005
can't wait for CSS this wednesday....

thanx alot, some of them are really nice...but i still can't find something that makes my eyes shine. my first choice was freitag: some of their bags come in wonderful colours and all of them are hand made and one-off...what do you think? maybe too kitsch?
lemons i only have 4 (sometimes tight) pockets and one 30g ipod, one big wallet, one cellphone, one moleskine, mint candies, keys, cigs, would like to carry on a digital camera, frames and god knows what else...i could hang all this stuff all over my body but i don't think it would look very good. that's why i love cargo pants but i also love to change my look...
moreover, as i said before i've seen some guys walking round with purses and they look really nice. i think when you say they're too girlish you say it with a very closed mind. i guess 8 years ago you thought pink t-shirts were too girlish...if something looks good...what a difference does it make? it's just a state of mind imho...
cheers

hi guys
i'm looking for a man handbag to carry things like wallet, moleskine, ipod, cellphone blah blah blah...but i'm not looking for the usual messenger bag. what i want is an handbag, a purse...don't really know how to explain...something usually worn by women however, to put on the shoulder...i've seen some guys walking around in milan or london with one of those, mostly japanese men i have to say...so if you have some advice please give! i really need it...cheers everybody!

abs overhyped...don't like their stuff and their way...the brand is located near where i live in italy and i know somebody involved in the project. absolutely the most presumptuous persons i have ever known. so i chose to boycot'em, and i'm not finding it hard looking at the lots of crap they make
