dude, i didn't bring the jacket with, unfortunately - but hot damn, i found an amazing store in shibuya a bit off the main beaten path: trick trak, dude. holy shit, more vintage cazals than i've ever seen. deadstock tees, strictly hot shit. is it even on the radar here?

ps. it's saturday night and i'm going to air to see shadow. i'll be rockin a green raincoat.

shit dude, i'm as proud a native torontonian as there is, and would love to show you the ropes in person - but alas, i'm in tokyo/thailand while you're gonna be there. in any case, i'd love to at least point you towards the ropes, explain what's really good, what's really shit. the inside scoop. what precisely are you into? gimme a bit more to work with and i'll set you in the right direction. hit me at [email protected].

    peace...

  3. ha! for the toronto haters: you know how outside of new york (for the most part) americans think new york is some obnoxious stanky place - and how outside of america people hate on it for being the world's policeman and whatever? canadians who hate on toronto simply have no idea what's good and show a pathetic insecurity. vancity and the m are both amazing too, but lets be real people. there's a reason centres of attention bare that name.

to the original poster: the best 'boutiques' in toronto are nomad, uncle otis, the goodfoot, reset, del-phic, model citizen. most are in the queen west neighbourhood which is downtown-west, others are in yorkville and on college street (midtown). parkdale (queen west west) is also worth checking out - and for the best vintage shopping possibly on the planet go to kensington market (which is off spadina avenue between college and dundas).

peace! and enjoy your time up here...
