i love how some people accepted the fact that he isnt a real watch enthusiast or whatever and is a general phony...all we have to base our opinions on him are some things hes said in his blog which were just extrapolating to showww that hes a rich fuck who has only a superficial interest in these things. Personally, from reading his blog i get the sense that he has a legitimate passion for this.
whatever, the dude can play the guitar...really really well

alright so i saw their recent offerings on grandism...thought it was pretty nice. They definately were influenced by Islam, new world order conspiracy ideas, Islamic warfare....basically you've seen this aesthetic before. A lot of companies have been using this aesthetic, just look at the tee's nom de guerre sold a year or two ago (not just the arabic print). One of the co-founders of Nom de Guerre was persian so that made sense. Does anyone know anything about the people behind Perks and Mini?
Their shirts have very strong Islamic references. The caligraphy is definately Quranic and it does touch upon very sensitive issues regarding the state of Muslim affairs. I am a little worried that these companies are taking this too far. It is one thing to use some sort of lifestyle or mode of existence as an influence, and it is also one thing shed light on these issues. But, using such strong imagery without any true foundation or beliefs of Islam and the politics surrounding it, i believe, is wrong.

went there today i was pretty pissed
clothing section was blah. shirts sucked...the only decent sweats were xxl. and there were like only 3 of them. i got a Large crew neck, its ok. shoes were all 30 percent off...they had some of the hybrid air max ones. a lot of regular dunks and af1s. not really good at all.
then i went to supreme and got an all black box logo new era

i got them at journeys at woodbridge mall...i dont think the release was very limited at all if they got them...i have a feeling if they made these into sb's and made 50 percent less of them...the hype would have been pretty intense
