  1. first up is a really great pair of capezio dance shoes. these aren't like the white ones that inspired the dior dance shoes (which are leather and often quite flimsy). instead, they're suede and the shape is similar to a low top old school ked or a basic slim oxford shoe. the color is ULTRA COOL and very NOW. it's a deep shape of purple . . . WINE, perhaps. they are in excellent vintage condition, fresh off ebay, but unfortunately way too small for me. listed as men's ten, but infact fit more like an 8 or 8.5. don't go off my guess though: they measure 11 inches end to end and about 10 3/4 inches on the inside.

    $40 including shipping

next is a rare pair of cheap monday white high tops. totally white with very subtle details, no annoying cheap monday logos here. MINIMAL and CHIC, could look great in a variety of looks. these are not listed on caliroots anymore, but that's where I got em. looks great with all cuts of pants, unlike most high top sneakers which usually look mondo chunky when paired with a slim leg. total swedish classic and such a steal considering they were about $85 incl. shipping from sweden. size 10.

$50 including shipping, brand new in box, never worn

  2. here are a nice pair of mid to high top sneakers from cheap monday. these look a lot different from the chuck taylor rip offs you're probalby used to seeing. they're very minimal and basic, which is oddly hard to find for a decent price. they also have the added benefit of looking great with slim and even skinny jeans (I've found it's hard to find high top sneakers that don't look super chunky with skinny pants).

I got them last week from cali roots, but decided that I have way too many plain white sneakers. they've never been worn out of the house and they come brand new in the original box. I'm asking $70 shipped in the US (they will cost you about $85 shipped to the US from Sweden). they're a true size 10, eu43, sold out currently on cali roots. get em while they're hot! perfect for spring!

  3. I wasn't saying that everyones jeans should sag, its all a matter of personal taste and fits your body type. what I was referring to was that to me it seems like in that pic the jeans are pulled way above his normal waistline.

for example if you compare them to the last pic of the series, the washed grey ones.

technically, the jeans in this pic are closer to the natural wasitline, which was "normal" until about 10-15 years ago. personally, I'm ready to say good-bye to lowrise jeans.

  4. hey everyone-

I'm selling a pair of week-old dior homme raw denim jeans, japanese denim, 19 cm model (the ultimate skinny jean, in other words). I bought them last sunday at the dior homme boutique in NY on 57th street for 320 (including tax). I'd been meaning to get my hands on these jeans for quite some time (the NY boutique rarely has small sizes in stock these days), but I've had a change of heart (and also my bank account is dwindling from my trip last weekend). they were worn out of the house only two or three times, so they're NEW but I guess not brand new.

SO- my loss is your gain. I'm selling them for $260 with shipping (that's $30 under retail, and $60 under with NY state tax).

below you'll find pics and measurements. pm if you're interested...

  5. i rained ALL day today here in Chicago. weird weather. it was 90 yesterday, windy with rain all day with the temp not hitting over 70.

i figured i'd get shit over the true religions. oh yeah.. so since when was dior, nudie or APC "non celebrity" denim?sorry.. i can't afford to drop over $100 on jeans. i'd kill for a pair of nudies, diors, etc. but i gotta budget my money.

i get shit for wearing True Religions.. then a guy a couple posts after me posts a pic of himself in bright red tight cotton pants.. and NO one says shit to him? props for being original though. i'll give you credit for that. shit.. i have no business saying that do i? i'm a newb. i shouldn't be saying shit until i'm a credited well known person on superfuture huh?

uh- how did I get involved in this? sorry you dont have the cash to drop on the denim that most prefer on this forum, but news flash -- cultivating personal style isnt about money. dior homme is a luxe interpretation of a cheap street look. a good amount of my wardrobe is second hand or from ebay, ie inexpensive. sorry if you didnt like my look, but it was cheap... really cheap. also notice the absence of over exposed, over distressed, shitty true religions.
