  1. So I bought some beautiful white suede shoes from Polo. Second time I'm wearing them, I spill a drink on them. There are several colored spots on them. I tried using a spray-on suede cleaner and that didn't help to much. I'm guessing I'll be bringing them to a professional cleaner, but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on what to do. Also, any recommendations for a place to bring them in Philly?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I have no idea. They just opened their web store, so it might not be working properly yet, but I know these guys are reliable as this is where I got my Regular Ralfs for $240 at their store in Philly. Nice guys, I'm sure they'll work out the kinks. You can probably e-mail them your order.

  3. What are your chino recommendations for under $100. I'm looking for something with a slimmer fit than most companies have. Obviously, I don't want pleats at all. They also should not have a worn look as I need them for more formal occasions. I tried on some of the Brooks Brothers ones. They are fairly slim, but they sit a little high, and the pockets stick out. I want something with a slightly tighter crotch. J Crew has absolutely nothing that looks good enough, and I hate Gap pants. I have yet to try on Polo ones and also Banana Republic, but to be honest with you, I'm not sure that I'm going to like any of the pants that all these big chain stores make. I know my jeans, but as a college kid, I don't need chinos that often, so I'm asking for your help.

  4. I have to disagree. I love my Seven Jeans. They feel great, and they fit so well. I get so many comments on my ass when I wear them. Some would say they look gay, but a lot of girls today like the tight ass look. I don't mind showing it off. ;)

  5. Alright, they are here. I can answer that question about the corduroy. These are not denim. From the pictures I thought that they were denim with a corduroy texture, but in fact they are just black corduroy. They are however cut like jeans, and they are still very nice though, so I plan on keeping them. I will post pictures when I get a chance.

  6. How much will these shrink? I just got mine, and I think that it seems a little big, yet the same size (medium) AA tee I got from a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert fits better. I like me tee's to be pretty tight around my body, but maybe these tees aren't made like that. I'm afraid a small might be a problem because it fits my neck properly already. However, the shoulders seem like they are just short of being too wide.

  7. To be honest with you, I don't have anything over a year old, so I hope that doesn't happe, but who knows, maybe it will, and if it happens to one pair, then so be it, if it happens to two, then I'll probably be done with them. But I have talked to people who have Diesel's from 3-5 years ago, and they still wear them and love them, and they are still looking good and fashionable.

  8. I'm new to these boards, but I am certainly a fan of them. They were my first venture into the high priced denim world. I guess maybe I play into the trends, but I don't care. It's a style thing. It's the way I like to look and most people can't pull of the look that I do. I love the different designs and the fit and quality of Diesel jeans. There aren't many brands with the same sort of styling to it. Sometimes the styling is over the top, and some would say that it is too much, but that is one of the reasons that I am so attracted to it. People pay attention to the jeans, not just your t-shirt. With a pair of Nudies when you break them in, they are beautiful, but to be honest, most people are going to recognize the Diesels more.

Anyway, I don't want to turn this into a hate on anything thread. Some people like Diesel, and some don't. I get the feeling that most people here don't wear it too often. I like Diesel and I'll continue to wear it, but I'll definitely wear it less now that I have 5 months and 3 weeks to break these Nudie Regular Ralfs in.

P.S. I like Seven for All Mankind jeans too. I get so many comments on my ass from girls when I wear them. They fit better than any other jeans I have worn.

P.P.S. I can't believe that I wrote all that about jeans. They are just pants, but I love them.

  9. They are definitely pricey as all Diesel is, but I'm a bit of a Diesel collector I guess you could say. These are a limited run, and no one here in Philly will have them. So it's definitely unique.

  10. I just ordered the Deegull Iridescent Cord Jeans. I like the texture on them and that they are black. Plus, I needed a pair of loser fit jeans. I'll post some more detailed pics than are on their site when I get them.
