Because a vendor is listed on the Evisu site does not garauntee that they will not sell you fake Evisu. The store owner could be a legit Evisu buyer (recognized by Evisu), but stopped buying from Evisu for a season and buys from other (off the truck/whatever) to quote on quote save themselves money. The jeans are expensive even on the wholesale end. So it's possible that they got caught with fake stuff. It's also possible that they know they are buying fakes or variants.

At the end of the day it's all about buying from stores with integrity and knowing if you are not comfortable with a product- the store will respect your request to return a product on those terms.

I like the Rich Yung stuff, really new brand. I was blessed to see some of their fall stuff, real hot.
