General question to those that own the Decoy Alu-Folk: do you actually wear them in crappy weather? If so, how do they hold up?

 

wore mine all winter (literally), especially in crappy weather. this was after a snow storm. they hold up perfectly and aren't delicate boots and they look better with use. kept my feet dry and as long as i had good socks, my feet were warm too. i actually preferred these to my tried and true gore-tex bean boots.

 

whats the sizing on the sentinels? I'm a 9 in grizzlies, foleys, and patricians. 8.5 in skagways, 9.5 in fbt. do these fit like the skags?

For reference, I've got a pair of S/S 12 Patricians, F/W 12 Grizzlies, and S/S 13 Gris Moc Mid's all size 9. The Gris Moc's are noticeably more "snug" than the Grizzlies and Patricians. I've heard that past season Foley's run small, so I'm tryna decide if I should cop a 9 or size up to a 10.

Hey guys, I'm interested in a proxy to get the Foley's. They're available at visvim's online shop but only in Japan. I've seen ppl recommend a few different proxies, but I just want a good idea of 1-2 that are dependable and have reasonable rates. If anyone can help me in that, thanks.

If made by supreme tts if made by cdg size down, It was suggested last season to size down on the gusset.

yup. I wear a M in Supreme, and a S in CdG. I copped last season's Sup/CdG Gusset shirt in a Large hoping it was Supreme-sized, but it was huge on me. The gusset shirts are actually made by CdG. I can't speak for the rest of the line tho. I'm hoping to cop that Coaches Jacket. Been feenin' for a good one for the past 2-3 years.

I think you're confusing Supreme with the Goodwill store.

Lol. skate/street style isn't far from goodwill in my opinion anyway. and i say this as a proud goodwill/supreme shopper.

kinda odd to hear ppl say they've "flung themselves at every niche of hipsterdom" when the Supreme aesthetic has, in essence, informed--and in some instances, created--what "hipsterdom" is and looks like. ...it's like saying McDonald's or Burger King has flung themselves at every niche of the burger market or fast-food market. i get where critiques like that come from, just feel they're a bit misplaced.

I just finished to litterally fight with my Grizzly's riri zip. It was completely stuck, it is now working again but it seems damaged and that may happened soon again. Visvim seriously need to change the zippers to YKK Excella or other smoother zippers, riri look good but the bigger ones are not sliding properly (PFD is like that, I had to put liquid soap on it).

agreed. i have a moncler v goryu jacket and the 22L Lamina backpack and i have similar issues with the riri zippers on both. Especially on the goryu, sometimes i worry i'm about to break the whole damn zipper. i know riri zippers area sposed to be top-of-the-line buuuuut given the difficulty of actually zipping, iunno if i buy it.
