  1. People in niketalk already answered your questions but first let me say in keep superfuture out of NT there are far too many doche bags there and if someone really needs superfuture they'll find it without NT. I found superfuture a few months before i even knew what niketalk was let alone was a member. If you want answer to denim questions ask them here not NT that just brings the fucking morons of NT here.

And yes your picture is correct, and those are selvedge denim, the way it looks will vary from brand to brand somewhat. dry and raw denim are basically the same as far as i understand, in the sense that their raw and unfinished denim. and your last question i would assume premium denim would vary somewhat from brand to brand but i would guess some are like that.

  2. your pair would be the perfect trial of placing like a plate or box of baking soda to see if it will remove the smell cause if you skate in them odds are they're going to stink... the idea comes from puting a box of baking soda in the fridge and it will remove funky smells from your fridge and i think it will work with jeans too...

also they look quite nice, i wish mine had that kinda wear after a month... i've had mine like 2 months and nothing close to that but its too hot for jeans other than at night and also i don't think i could bring myself to skate in jeans i'm not going to wash...

Baking soda, I went to lunch with my mom like a week ago and she asked what i'd been up to and long story short i explained the whole denim fasnation and she thought it was alittle weird and thought febreezing was gross but if you put like an open container of baking soda or like a ventilated bag of it around it that it would remove the smell. I have yet to come up with how exactly i'm going to do it mostly cause my apc's dont smell yet cause i haven't really worn them a whole lot yet (been too hot) or just haven't really sweated in them much i guess, but if done right it should work quite well.

  4. ^ yep

had a pair of the english's and felt like getting alittle variety and i got them back when they were 130, now i believe they're 160. They're very nice, not a whole lot like the raw denim of the regular APC, but nonetheless quite nice.

  5. Leaders1354 and Phli for sneakers and streetwear respectively... both on 53rd st. on the Southside. www.leaders1354.com will have the exact location that you can use like google maps to find. Phli used to have a website not sure if they still do its at 53rd and Harper Ct. and the last few times i was there its been pretty empty but its down the street from the other store so its worth dropping into. For denim there are two stores i know of only one of which i've been to both i found on superfuture for chicago. Hejfina, i've been to and they care apc's and couple other high end denim companies, very nice boutique. Other one is Jake, never been there but if you look up chicago on superfuture you'll find them.

Yeah most NT'ers think sugercane = ripoff of Evisu. I think the only guy that wears APC's is that peterock dude that posts in the what did you wear thread.

    whats up with that?

Quote: guess that mean ebayologist and I dont exist then......

^apparently so, seems strange how i own 2 pairs of apcs and post in wdywt relatively often and kixslf the owner of atleast a pair and posts even more so...

But think honestly most NT'ers don't even know what sugercane is let alone think its ripoff Evisu some of you give these 12yr old pseudo hypebeasts that make threads about dunks for 70+ pages alot more credit than they deserve... But act like we're all like that... As far as being knowledgeable when it comes to denim there are those in the know and might not be and versed as many on this site but they know a thing or two but after those few there is a swift drop off in terms of knowlegde and actually consumers of these high end jeans. In other words a good 90% of NT are fucking morons who most of you shouldn't really concern your self with because anyone here is here to learn or talk about denim not here to deal with the bullshit that is killing NT as i type this... kill the NT bashing its stupid and no one from NT i've recognized has been anything but responding in kind and is just here because he/she wants to talk about denim and the other topics discussed here not how NT'ers are this or that...

  7. ^ same here...

i've been reading the review of stores for all those cities way before i joined and i was reading supertalk and the superfuture site even before i was reading or joined NT...

some of you hate and i understand why, there are alot of fucking idiots on NT but from the ones, i've seen kixslf, peterock, and dunkin deeznuts. Your getting some of the best of the whole lot so save the hate...

  8. I'm looking for a pair of jeans that have a relatively straight leg and aren't baggy but also are too tight. Was thinking of APC's and perhaps the vintage standard or the vintage tight but wondered about how either fit or if their was some other jeans that might fit the bill better... thanks.

  9. few questions...

Are the apc vintage new standard jeans selvedge denim?

and whats the fit like since they have a wash to them i.e. do i need to go a few sizes smaller?

and also are they just like their raw denim just with a wash so is it really worth it or should i go with something else?
