That's pretty true (to me at least). I was so gungho about Dior Homme at first but then when I started seeing the type of people who bought it (mostly spoiled-rich high school kids who start acting like they're a dior homme model too), I kind of backed off. I'll stick to my other clothes - the ones that inspired Slimane in the first place.

Really, Dior is BAPE only different. It bothers me to see the people in dior sneakers, dior jeans, dior tees and maybe also a dior jacket and a dior scarf, all at the same time, think they're the shit. What they're doing is essentially buying a style, and that's not cool. Where is the personality, the individuality, the hard thing about copying a runway outfit? That's fashion for the cookie cutter.

I'm very much feeling Hedi's nigo-like statement about the ppl buying his stuff.

Anyway, the stuff is good, even if the quality seems to have gone down quite a bit for this season, buy it if you like it, but dont be a fashion victim.

it's true i hate to see a person from head to toe in one brand that is simply lame, i remember when vondutch was popular, i seen kids have cover them self head to toe in von dutch, it was fucken gross....i like to see personality in them not just a tool of a brand.
  2. YEH, I WAS REALLY EMBARASSED, ESPECIALLY I WORK WITH BUNCH JEANS PEEPS....SO IT WAS NOT GOOD.

BUT YEAH, IF YOU ARE IN SO CAL, I HOOK YOU UP WITH SCREEN INK, I HAVE SILK SCREEN STUFF AT WORK ALSO....

LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANYTHING.

    PEACE....

  3. BUDDY, THAT AIN'T SHIT, I GOT A PAIR FAKE EVISU AND THE LOGO FALL OFF THE BACK POCKET THE FIRST DAY I PUT THEM ON......MAN.....

BY THE WAY, SEE IF YOU COULD GET HOLD OF PLASTSOL (I THINK THATS HOW YOU SPELL THEM) THAST THE PAINT THEY USE FOR TEE-SHIRT, AND YOU HAVE TO DRY THE PAINT WITH HEAT GUN....AND THEY WELL LOOK AS FRESH AS A PAIR NEW ONE STRAIGHT FROM OSAKA......

  4. i agree, with jjs, i remember when i first bought a echo shirt in 97, and it was fresh, eevryone like it, and seeing him, went from making t-shirt to where he is today, i think that is amazing...

and on the modern furniture part, he is right, they kind of all suck really bad...except eames lounge chair, they are so nice...

  5. the thing with levis is that they create the whole game, and no one could touch them on this one, i have to agree the 501 is great, i have a pair and they are just great.

but diesel style lab have some amazing washes, and the team seems to be really creative, i like that aspect alot.

so i think you should buy both.....thats for sure

  6. [To think I would get this all this over a wet pair of jeans.

Pressproduction you need to chill. Working for a denim company and understanding how a denim company works are 2 different things and you obiviously don't know the difference.

Everyone wants to look a certain way and with NO EXCEPTION everyone wants to get paid.

Don't piss on annother persons parade because you are a little disgruntel.

People have different styles and approaches to everything that's what make forums like this a cool to speak and a place to learn something about a product or whatever that a person has a passion for.

The reason I picked up the other pair of jeans because mine were soaked is I own the fuckin store and it's a perk. Not because I just wanted to get another pair of jeans ( even though I did) . I just didn't feel comfortable selling jeans soaking wet.

    ]

well, i can't see how working at a denim company is different than understanding how a denim company works. working retail is for sure different than working manufacturing. i'm happy to see you find a solution on your issue.

    have fun......

  7. well, i honestly dont care......i just dont think if you folks know where you jeans come from, and i know....i know where seven wash there jeans, i know where von dutch wash their jeans, i know who sews jeans for true religion, i been to those places....and its not pretty. i know the ins and outs of this business, i just reflect the ugly truth about it, in fact i have no problem people spend their money buying jeans at 180 and up, and i have no problem poeple are making lucrative money on it. just like there is tons of people welling-ly to pay few hundred bucks for a pair nike dunk, and the only cost no more than 10 USD to produce.

all i did was to reflect they way things are...and people tends to think thats ignorant...i wish i could show you folks just what kind of place those places are....it really isn't pretty...have you ever seen a warehouse stuck with more than 200 people stand side by side for 8-10 hours a day just to do the whisker on the jeans ( the fade effect on jeans done by hand sanding....) and thats no joke....no AC no NOthing....

  8. geez, i dont think i ever washed a pair jeans, since i'm so balling, i just go out and buy few more pairs of what ever jeans i want.....yeah sure, i swear i dont know any one goes to buy a another pair just because your jeans got wet...i work for a company that make jeans, and i never heard of such thing as not washing your jeans....thats so gross, disgusting, what 's the differences between you and homeless people if you dont wash your clothes. have you guys ever been to the garment distric in LA? man thats where all the homless crack head hang out, shit they dont wash their jeans and they smell like shit, for real they smell like shit becaus every each drop of sweat, pee, shit, and some one else' pee and shit and sweat and blood drop on them.....right there for all you jeans freaks out there, there is the ultimate wash for your next off the graph chart jeans, yeah go rob a crack head and sale his or her fucken jeans on ebay, they banging.......you people got rob by the so-call high end jeans company....they all made in east LA by bunch illegal immigrants and wash by them and all the korean, morrocan jews, armanian, chinese owners are getting rich off your hard earn money....

  9. ok, i think what you are talking about is call tinting, what youdo is get airbrush gun spray a mixture of plastsol and thinneragent, and dry it witha heat gun, than spray the starch on, crease it or however u want than pressure iron it for like 3-5 minute, than that will give you the look you want.

as far as how u want to take it to a shop to do it that won't work, since no one is welling to do just few pair jeans for personal use, even you welling to pay that will cost you some money.......hit me up for any question....
