  1. Hi,

Im new to the forum, so hello to you all..

ive been looking at this thread for a while..

Theres a few questions about what the numbers mean, the no1, no2 etc.. to ,my knowledge is down to to the quality of the producst, eg no1 is the best .. no2 is second... more mainstream less cost than the no1's

    I have a few questions,

If you look at the studs on the mcdonalds jeans..

    http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r12602406

    and the japan website jeans...

    http://www.rakuten.co.jp/d-stock/540682/606601/

you will see that they are exactly the same, so my first question is ... have the counterfiters started to use them studs in their jeans? i have no interest in the mcdonalds jeans, i ask only because i have bought 2 pairs in the past (which i havent even wore yet) and the studs are the same as what is shown on the japanese stores, and i was guarenteed that they are 100% authentic japanese evisu..i have checked them against other pics on japanese webstores, but can find no real differences...infact here is a pic to one of them....

my next question is does anybody know if these jeans are genuine:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3979374759&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1

i have a couple of more pics.... and i have seen them in real life at my local flannels/harvey nicks for £350.00, so i purposely ordered the exact same pair so i could compare, the thing is i have paid for them yet, so if anyone can confirm they are fake...and know why, then i wont go through with the sale.

and does anyone know why on the japanese website tags does it say evis..and not evisu? i ask because on the same couple of pairs i have, they didnt come with tags, and the bags said evis on:

lastly, i know there is alot of fake evisu going about in the u.k which is ruining the brand, but then again there are fakes in almost everything, most brands can out do the fakes, and im sure evisu will survive...as for the evisu eu ed i think its aload of crap, and im starting to believe that if my yamane did really believe in his brand so much, why had he decided to cash in on it- because thats exactly what evisu eu ed is doin, becoming an available high street brand...but then again if theres money to be made why not?

I'd like to say im a huge evisu fan i have 10 pairs of euro evisu....and 3 pairs of japan evisu, along with 2 pairs of evisu puma, all of which are authentic, and i paid alot of money for all of them!!! ive tried edwin..i actually bought them from ebay on buy it now a couple of months back for about £45, but as someone has stated..it turns out that they are high end fakes!..good thing ive never worn them!..but in all honest they dont look fake and the quality is amazing! id prob sell em if anyones interested! but if there fake there fake!

to my knowledge there is four main types of evisu..

evis - the orginal jean it self, before the trouble with levis

evisu japan - the red tab ones, which are usually narrower...and the sizes are more precise. dont have serial on inside.,,i think

evisu euro - usually the no.2 jeans..like http://www.rakuten.co.jp/d-stock/540682/606389/ - usually have serial on inside.

evisu eu ed - the crap.

and another thing i have realised..is the evisu euro sizes for the t-shirts jumpers hoodys e
