Does anyone else feel like the whole loopwheeled t-shirt thing is a bit overhyped? I love the idea of having super high quality T's that're very soft and will last a long time and have picked up a few loopwheeled T's from Iron Heart, Flat Head, and Loopwheeler. And while they certainly seem thicker (actually, just the Iron Heart ones are noticeably thicker), I really don't find them that much softer than T's that cost 1/10th the price.
So is this just a matter of seeing a difference 10 years down the road, or am I just too much of a pleb to appreciate this amazing fabric.

If anyone's interested in loopwheeled Flat Head t-shirts, I have 2 brand new ones up for sale in the supermarket: http://supertalk.superfuture.com/index.php/topic/149423-fs-loopwheeled-flat-head-t-shirts-l/
I got them recently from Rakuten... they're a Large, but unfortunately fit a bit too tight for me. (I'm a 39" chest, and it's just a tad snug, I think it'd be perfect for 38").

Kiya, from the Loopwheeled T-shirts thread, it sounds like the FH THC t-shirts aren't loopwheeled (http://supertalk.superfuture.com/index.php/topic/105995-loopwheeledvintage-t-shirts/page-13), but they are listed as loopwheeled on the Self-Edge website (http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=68&products_id=880). Are they incorrect in the thread, or is this an over-sight on the website?

True Religion is the epitome of the "designer jeans made popular solely because a bunch of celebs wear them and now all the masses that want to appear trendy are flocking to buy them so that they can look trendy and hip, regardless of how they actually look".

Wow, that's actually exactly what I pictured you to look like when I read your posts.Quote:today:

I've washed my pair of APCs once in warm water with laundry detergent, and they look much darker than that.

How come your APCs always look so light in all your pics. Is it the lighting/flash, or are your jeans really that light blue?

I have a pair of English in 29 and a pair of RRDS in 30. Both fit me very well, with the English being just slightly tighter.

They're definitely legit... however, I can also believe that some low-lives would do that exchange trick with their fake bags... I've heard quite a few stories of people that do that with local department stores like Nordstrom's.

Gonna be going to Hawaii for a week (Oahu), any suggestions of interesting shops to check out?

For a second there, I thought this thread was going to be a request to start a denim-only message section here on supertalk.

I don't think ST is so much setting trends as it is just reporting on them. But since the info hits here so early, it seems like it's ST that's setting the trends.

Since you are planning on losing weight, it's probably a really good time to change up your wardrobe too, since all your clothes now probably won't be fitting you right in a few months.

Those look like they're a size too large. I had a pair of Rescues that fit like that on the waist when I first got them.... now they're about 3 sizes too big.Quote:some pictures with me wearing my pair of NS, they feel rather baggy imo

Hahaha, please look at the "Are you a hipster?" thread.

Considering you're going to be investing lots of time into these jeans, you should probably make sure you really like the fit before you start wearing them. You don't want to be constantly second-guessing the waist size during your months of wear.

Awesome, thanks a bunch for the translation, djrajio! I've tried translating that website before with Altavista Babelfish, but the translated text never really made much sense.
So, what US detergents would be considered "mild"? Does Woolite Black fit into that category?

Bootcut Olas are all over the place in LA... every store that carries Nudies had Bootcut Olas... I was very surprised.... the RR's, on the other hand, were a lot harder to find.
