For sale is a brand new, never worn Engineered Garments trench from the summer '07 season. I bought it out of enthusiasm but as I have very light skin the color is no good for me. So, before it get's dated this one is going on sale. Please start your offers at USD 300 as this one is brand-spanking-new.
Cheers

Hey, Thanks for rubbing it in! I figure the winter collection will hit racks in the next few months, thus giving me the chance to grab the new trench. I just hope it's as good or better than last fall's.
I am sorry again mate, I spoke to Daisuki about your case and he said he will probably not make another trench anytime soon. But, gambatte!

I've been out of the country for a while and got back too late to grab one of these. I'm a trenchcoat person and the one they made last season was the one I've been looking for. Bad timing. I'd be interested in any other trenches with interesting looks. Rick Owens has some nice ones as well.
Haha funny, I just picked one of these EG Trench Coats up. Let me assure you, it's really really good - the one you want. I am also a very trench coat person.
Too bad you been out of "the" country, really bad luck on your part!

Hi there,
going to stay near Cagliari soon, south of Sardinia.
Any recommendation for that corner of the world? Cagliari is a pretty big city wiht lots of media companies so there should be some good places to eat / shop / hang out.
Thanks in advance!!

Hi,
is anyone aware of a service that will buy stuff for you in japanese online stores and forward the goods to your address?
There are some services that will try to win auctions for you on Yahoo Japan but they don't offer buying from regular online stores.
If this does not exist it surely is a service lots of people would use...

I know Start does have quite a bit of E.G..no E.G. in the Duffer store as of yesterday (was really disappointed with Duffer - they only have their own stuff now, plus a little Polo Ralph Lauren and Stone Island (wtf?).
Anyway, what about these stores:
A Butcher of Distinction
Harvey Nichols
Diverse (Upper Street)
I don't have the time to check them all out, but aren't they likely to stock E.G. ?
Cheers

Hi guys
I am currently staying in London, and have been checking out Liberty's and Start in Shoreditch, both are great stores, but I was a little unlucky with sizes, they were both out of the sizes I need.
Does anyone know for sure any other stores for Engineered Garments and / or Rag & Bone in London?
Any help would be highly appreciated! I am only here for two days and I need to find some of the good stuff here ;-)
Cheers

Sorry, but Berlin is totally overrated. It's a boring city, not on the same level as London or Paris (it might be in 30 years, but not now).
There's one big exception: If you are into minimal electro / techno / house and like to do loads of drugs and go raving every night and day for 1 year, Berlin is the place to be.
Apart from the Techno, there's not much in Berlin, definitely not enough too keep you interested for longer than a week. It's very cheap to live there, though.
London is still #1 in Europe. The diversity of cultures makes the difference.

I stayed in Firenze for a week a short time ago, also on my own, it's known in Italy as the "closed" city meaning it's inhabitants are not open to foreigners. It can be pretty crowded, not as much as Venice, but close.
The area around Firenze though is a must see, especially the small cities of Siena and Lucca, and to the seaside (Viareggio, Forte De Marmi), where you can catch a little bit of the old glamour of Italy's luxurious holiday sites, like art - deco casinos, Grand Hotels, and the likes. Also crowded in August (when Italians are having school break).
Also, to the north of "La Versilia" you have to see La Spezia, and the beautiful sights of "Cinque Terre" (this is defo a must-see).
If you go further north, Genova is a cool city which is not well enough known, it's a funky place not very tourism-oriented, I rate it only second to Rome of Italy's cool cities.
If you can, make the jump over to Sardegna, which is great for relaxing on the beach (in the south or west) or going posh on the eastern "Costa Smeralda" (not recommended - too many tossers there, you got a good chance of bumping into Victoria Beckham there).
For shopping, Milan is the cream of the crop, alongside with Rome. Don't expect any good stores in smaller cities like Firenze, it's all Versace, Prada, Missoni, and the likes there with very little smaller labels on sale.
I have never really been further south than Rome, but there's many cool places there as well.

Hey,
can anyone name an online resource for the non-suede version of the Desert Boot? They also come in "tumbled leather" ... eBay doesn't seem to be a good source for those. I'd prefer them in black but this new orange one also looks good:
No way to order from Japan because I need size US 12 =8-0
So if anyone could give me a hint where to look, kudos to you!
Cheers mates!

sorry but of course Famous Friends is a shop. Not the guys I was talking about. What was their name again...shrug..

Hi
thanks - that's a pity but at the same time it makes the stuff even more interesting, dayum, if I just wasn't so open minded to guerilla marketing techniques... :-)
I've seen these guys on here I guess Famous Friends is their name who ship hard2get items from NYC anywhere, tried to hook up via e-mail but only one reply and then nevermore, so I am not sure I want to send them money. There should be people who fill this gap in service, I guess that should be worth their individual whiles...

Hi,
I'd like to get my hands on both brands, but no retail anywhere near me and nothing on eBaY, is anyone aware of online shops selling either of these?
What are some other good brands for classic shirts?
Cheers

Hi denim junkies,
this might be a tough one, I want to bid on this eBay auction on a "Replay WER jeans", I kinda dig the style but this subbrand of Replay is unknown to me - is it really that high class like the seller says it is? How far would you guys go up for it? Never saw this jeans brand before..is it really rare??
But don't outbid me hehe: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7706938780&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

Liberty is great, but Selfridges, I doubt that's where he'll find brands like Rag & Bone...or am I wrong?

that craigslist reads like a cheap ripoff of maddox...well he still got a point, but getting aggravated over the price of designer jeans is a bit dull isn't it...people spend loads of money on stupid things, that's not shocking anyone anymore or is it?

Good place to buy a MacBook Pro in the London Westend / Shoreditch area?
in supershopper
Posted
Hi everybody,
I am looking for a place in central London (Westend, Shoreditch) to buy a Macbook Pro.
The obvious choice would be to go to the Apple Store in Regent Street, I know. But, maybe there are other stores with lower prices? I know there are a lot of electronics stores like Micro Anvika on Tottenham Court Road but the websites I checked all have the same price as the Apple Store itself.
Where is the best price store for Apple products in Central London?
Cheers
