  1. I have a pair of nudie regular ralf dry's that I got in paris and I absolutely love them.. only worn them for about 2 weeks now so they're not even close to being broken in..

A couple of weeks ago I also found a pair of loose frank's being sold on ebay out of germany which I picked up and they finaly arrived yesterday.. comparing the 2 styles I noticed a huge difference in the material and seams on the franks vs the ralfs..

the denim on the ralfs is much thicker/heavier than the franks and a lot stiffer.. will the lighter weight denim on the franks wear in as nicely ralfs? I really like the fit on the franks but the ralfs are a superb pair of jeans

  2. well.. if you were looking for tech jobs.. this would be the right place to be.. the market is pretty hot right now in the tech space..

not too familiar with the apparel market..

but seattle in general is a great place to be living.. I spent time living in both new york and sf.. and though i loved new york.. seattle is definately a great place.. though when it comes to shopping.. we may fall a little behind..

  3. My parents are in paris this week and I asked them to pick up a pair of nudie regular ralf's while they were there, as I was hoping they would be easier to find there than here in the states.. Unfortunately the stores listed on the nudiejeans.com store directory didn't seem to cary them.. They tried both collette and royal cheese...

Anyone have any ideas on another place to try?

I think I'm going to have them check and see if the APC's are a better deal over there as well.. any other lines you would recommend that might be cheaper purchased over seas?

  4. I still have a pair of new blue blood dry goods in 36x32 available that I was trying to sell.. They're a bit too big for me so I was hoping to sell them to buy another pair of nudies..

pm me if you're interested.. I posted a thread about them on here a bit ago if you search for it to see pics..

  5. sorry.. hadn't had a chance to log in here in a few days.. here are some basic measurements i took on them..

    Front Rise: 13"

    Rear Rise: 15"

Hip: 21.5" (~4" below waist?) 20" at the top

    Knee: 10"

    Bottom opening: 10"

hope this helps.. I was told they'll shrink about 5% on the first wash..

Also.. I'm located in Seattle, WA. for those who asked me where I would be shipping out of.. For those of you are serious about purchasing these jeans.. please shoot me another PM with your offer/location.. I will check my PMs tonight and tommorow and get back to you all..

  6. So I picked these up recently and I found the fit on this size not to be quite right for me.. I thought the 34 would not be so bad and I'm not big on having large cuffs so I thought I would see if anyone on here might be interested in picking them up.. I had been wanting a pair of these for quite some time and got a really great price on them so I was completely torn on unloading them..

I had considered getting them altered or washing them to shrink them a bit.. but I thought doing this before I had a chance to break them in would completely ruin the point of the dry selvage jean.. so.. here's your chance..

Jeans are brand new with tags.. size 36W 34L.. Start the price out at 199..

If you have any questions let me know.. here's the pics:

  7. I got an update friday that Ian was clearing out their spring/summer stock and marking down their stock on most lines.. I dropped in on sat and was shocked to find that nearly all of their denim was 75% off.. everything was dirt cheap..

nearly every style of g star.. rogan.. mark newsom g star collection.. rag and bone.. all 75% off.. saw several pairs of rogans for 40-80$.. went nuts.. though i ended up picking up 4 pairs.. the top score was this sick pair of newsom g star's with the rubber lining on the pockets (reg 410$.. ) for 110.. and a pair of black denim rogans for 55..

unfortunately the blue bloods were not on sale.. though i'm quite excited that i picked up a pair of dry goods online friday for 150$ .. should be here this week.. so stoked on these jeans.. can't wait to get them..

also.. the guy at ian mentioned they will be stocking nudies in the fall and said they expect their stock to show up some time in the next month.. i was really happy to hear this..

anyone in the area better get down there and cop these before they're gone..

  8. Does anyone have a link to a style guide for the blue bloods and dry goods lines? I'm curious what the differences between these two particular styles are..

I came across these 2 different styles I really like but I'm confused about what the real differences are in materials/design other than the style diffs..

this pair is part of the dry goods line.. (preference)

    goods-back.JPG

and this pair seems to be raw selvage as well.. but not part of the dry goods line.. i see the cinch belt addition which is alright but i'm not sure if the material is actualy of the same quality as the dry goods above..

does anyone have any more info on these 2 lines.. or possibly a prefference or recommendation on which might be a better pair to pick up? I love my other pairs of bluebloods and I really want to find a nice selvage pair to break in..

  9. problem is they do not sell dry goods locally so I have to order them online.. Just wanted some advice on which I should go for.. I assume I will not be washing them for a bit till I break them in..

I am guessing i'll try the 36's.. do they run substantially larger or just a bit looser?

  10. I'm considering picking up a pair of dry goods that i've been after for some time now.. I have a pair of the blue bloods (bootcut) that are 36x32 .. they fit great but i'm curious if i would expect the dry goods to fit similarly.. i know there will be some bit of shrinkage but i'm mainly wondering if the cuts would be similar..

i've heard the dry goods run a bit larger than their stated sizing.. but im not sure if thats also true for the regular blue bloods line as well.. any ideas?

  11. I saw a few shirts by a label 'white panic' on the drooghi.com store.. I was curious if anyone else might stock this line and/or have other sizes/availability for some of this stuff.. i'm really feeling that castro shirt.. loving the dot work on it..

  12. i've caught them a few times live and i have to say I was quite disapointed by their most recent incarnation..

I first saw them with aphex twin in the late 90s and they were awesome.. then seeing them billed for a smaller show in SF a few years ago I decided to go check them out and I was quite disapointed at their replacement of the lead singer with some new guy.. It just didn't have the same feel hearing all of these songs with a male vocal.. While i haven't followed them since that show, I would be hesitant to ever see them again without the original lineup..
