What ever happened to that? I'm not from Canada but is that still around? I remeber in NY they had opened up a store next to the Old 555-Soul in Ludlow, and then the store closed as quickly as it opened.

CONART! damn I hadnt heard that name in years, Yeah I remeber them, they are from the west coast I think? what ever did happen to them? The Union used to also carry this label called FUCT way back in the day, FUCT made the first T shirt I had ever seen with the Planet of the Apes concept, way before BAPE.

I heard that PNB had signed some distribution deal with a big company a few years back. That made their stuff available in Dept. stores rather than specialty shops. That was the begining of the end for them. But in the early 90's to me they were the Kings of NY as far as streetwear labels. Plus that PNB Graff logo was the first of its kind.

A lot of the albums mentiononed here with the exception of the Goats and others were pretty well received when they came out, I wouldent say underrated.
My all time most underrated and dissed by The Source is:
L.O.N.S. - T.I.M.E. The Inner Minds Eye. A classic in my book.

I remember going to 555-SOUL in Ludlow and buying a Tie-Top Hat circa 1991. Camella actually used to sit there in front of a sewing machine asking you which color label u wanted on the hat. Those were the days. 555-SOUL was to me the Original Street wear label in NY, everybody else just bit.

I would say that LRG started out as a concept driven label, but it seems that lately its been more logo driven. Personally I think some of the concepts are kinda wack though.
