interesting, thanks for the powder coating knowledge. kinda of a bummer, but for one of a kind workmanship, is the paint that big of a deal? there are other ways of stripping paint off that would be less intensive than blasting it off... and who cares about the decals? you know its a makino, its one of a kind, so dare someone to prove you wrong?

how much is the makino going for? because if youre getting a deal on it, i doubt it would be super expensive to just get the flame powder coated over with that cream color and keep the down tube and top tube logo. because that webbed lugging is so sexy, as are the tube angles!

one of the first things that comes to mind in a compact on the go tool is ergonomics. its nice to have a well formed tool in your hand when youre really giving it some elbow grease, so there isn't gnarly metal parts goin into your hand
