  1. I've been wearing shit mass-produced denim my whole life (at least in comparision to Supertalkers), and im looking to change that.

I'm totally new to the premium denim game, getting over the initial hump of figuring out what selvege was exactly haha, i'm looking to dive headfirst into buying some nice denim.

I know alot of the brands talked about on here, but im not sure if i want to drop a ton of money on my first pair of really nice denim, i'm wondering if theres maybe a cheaper or bang for your buck type brand, (middle of the road denim) , before i dive into the more expensive brands like nudie, evisu, APC, prps etc..

I just want to experience the step up in quality first, and see how much of a difference it really is to the cheap stuff i'm used to (think guess, polo/gap or BR jeans). But i dont want to get the absolute best stuff right away, as i have budget limitations.

my questions are as follows any brands are known for bang for the buck

also , when it comes to cuts, which cuts do you guys usually go for?

Last question , it seems alot of 'premium' brands only have button flies, i find these annoying, why the hate on zippers.

    thanks for the help.

  2. I was at tntblu today, they still got alot of sizes of blue blood jeans for $89, and rogans at half price too (or was it 60%?), either way plenty of sizes left. Over the rainbow had a sale, bunch of shirts for 30 and alot Diesel marked down, didnt see anything real good there though.

  3. I'm going to Boston in a couple weeks for a long weekend, and im just wondering what are some good shopping spots.

    Any boston supershoppers on here?

I'm looking for mainly streetwear/sneaker boutiques, as well as maybe a few good outlet malls, and some nice higher end stores that carry designer jeans or maybe someone can point me to some polo/lacoste retailers/outlets

    thanks in advance guys

  4. i sometimes show off a belt buckle if its nice, but dont make a point of it and look like ur trying to get everyone to look at ur belt buckle.

    hope i made sense

  5. i gotta say i love petite girls, as to what i like to see girls wear.

casual is always good ,stay away from anything too played out : uggs, etc, but you're style seems to be alot more sophisticated than that, so i won't even mention too much.

I find girls always look cute in some tight cut jeans, with a takn top, pretty class look. Or go for some vans slip-ons, or some sneaks, i find it actually makes a girl look more relaxed, than girls who wear heels or even flip-flops all the time.

i think flip-flops are just lazy fashion, but now i'm just rambling. I'm not too familiar female brands, so i probably havent been much help, i am good at telling someone straight up if they look good or not in an outfit though.

  6. really sad to see vice go, i liked the stuff they carried, it seems all the unique stores are slowly dying, giving way to the gaps, H&Ms, and american apparels of the world.

  7. Lately i've been noticing that unless i absolutely have to, i'll only wear jeans.

I love the way jeans fit and look, and that they're easier to take care of. Of course i wear dress pants , and the like when its neccesary, but i find alot of other kinds of pants devoid of character. ie. khakis.

What other styles do you wear? chinos, cargos etc?

and what brands make good chinos, etc , i really have no idae
