    people go to vegas it's because of magic. if pool and project cease to exist, people will still go to vegas every feb and aug for magic. that's a fact. magic came up with the campground and all those new spots this past february (platform, etc) which were nice. and the buyers that go to magic are established and mean business. they write. the ones at pool...some are alright but some are flakey. the kind of buyers that cancel orders. i hate that.

    it's not really my steez. i checked the website when i heard this news. and im not talking boxfresh...i know they are basically family with triple 5 in north america.

    i don't know i just heard addict flew out buyers for shops to look and pick up the line or something. from can. maybe i am wrong. maybe someone was talking talk to me. who knows. but i'm just saying what i heard.

    i don't know much about addict but i heard them flying out buyers from some questionnable shops to buy up their gear. ruined distribution in north america already. uh oh. tsk tsk.

    play fighting with my best friend at a bar. i jumped on his back and gave him a choke hold. he takes my arm flips me around and throws me off his back. he tosses me and doesn't notice a pool table...my head nails the metal corner of the pool table. to be exact, my eye socket hits the corner. i can't react that fast enough because i'm wasted. i have a black eye and my eyelid gets cut (a few more milimetres and i would have lost my sight). i had to get 8 stitches to my eyelid. when they froze the area i swear to god the needle punctured my eyeball.

    there's no theme. i think sometimes you get decent service and sometimes not. i have friends who work at skate shops and get calls all day about SBs. imagine having weirdo kids stalk you all day long and lurk in the store.

    i've had great service at supreme where dude in ny gave me a stack of free box stickers when i bought some shirts for my BF. to another guy..when i touched a backpack he barked at me and said it wasn't for sale. i mean i used to be rude to customers when i worked in high school for minimum wage b/c i couldn't get a new job. maybe some of them are just bitter.

    la supreme was decent service. one dude though...when trying on a beanie...and i tell no lies...told me the beanie was bi-sexual. obviously he meant unisex and my friend can back me up on hearing this. he told me he didn't carry any small sized shoes or things for women but the hats are bi-sexual so i could buy them. haha. it made my day.

    maybe they profile the customer. just like how at the airport customs officers do...and how much do you think they get paid? min wage? maybe that's why. i'd hate life too if i was that old and made shit money.

    i'm sure they are nice peoples...but how can you take yourself seriously with a name like off the hook? it's like having a store called it's so rad! or this is the shit! haha. what other stuff do they carry? i'd get into GF if i were you. ace is great.

    i miss beauty's on mont royal for my bagel and cafe au lait. but i do not miss the cold ass winters. what's up with general tso's chicken and montreal. no where else is that obsessed with chicken like that.

    syllable-less? i think it's called vowel-less...and if i can date them back, brkn home came out about 2001 when they did their hand screens or it could even have been late 2000. so that would be well before prps and whomever else followed with their vowel-less names.

    food wise:

    l'express on st. denis. yum steak frites. le chilenita for the empanadas. i forgot where that place is though.

    shopping:

    depends on what you look for. it's not overly earth shattering over there.

    but there's a lot of great food in montreal so enjoy yourself in that respect.

    the whole activist shit is pretty um unfortunate. maybe they have legit people involved but it's still horrible shit. i'd be an activist too if someone paid me. but i don't need jason lee, stretch armstrong and amy gunther to tell me to wear stripey shirts and yellow track suits and clothing that is not original at all. believe the hype! love the hype! it's definitely not my style at all.

    i love snowboarding but snowboarders are fucking lame. and i believe tiger does distribution for canada out of montreal. and then deep does it in the US.
