  1. yeah i saw these jeans 3-4 days ago too (the topman ones)

I don't think they were raw though. Either that or it was just extremely light denim, to the point where i'd just say it was cloth. Or maybe i've just been wearing too much samurai...

  2. there's a post somewhere with the price on them in nyc

but my bro hooked me up with a pair when he was in japan. set me back slightly over 200 US. its about 3/5 the price

  3. So I brought my Earnest Sewn's and my APC's to Earnest Sewn in the meatpacking district, and they would only hem my ES's. $18 and they will be ready on Wednesday. I asked for a suggestion on where to bring my APC's and they suggested some place on Mulberry between Prince and Spring. They are the 2nd people to recommend that place, so I'm going to go check it out tomorrow and get my APC's hemmed. Now the last matter at hand is the hole in the crotch of my Nudies. Think I can bring those to any old laundomat?

bump any ideas for the hole in the crotch? My nudies are suffering too.

  4. I just got myself a pair of these too. 3 days in right now.

The fit seems to be very similar to Regular Ralfs in that its sorta 'straight boot', tapering slightly down the thigh to the knees, then widening again. The rise is also very similar, though the back pockets rise up slightly higher. The Jomons had the most beautiful cut i've seen on any jeans, just the right balance between fitted and loose, but cost a bit more. These are definitely tighter than the Jomons.

I also tried on a pair of the Sorahiko Nando Nandos that is almost black, with blue underneath (the ones dyed warp n weft- with the dyed inside). Those are slightly more skinny jeans than the Sorahiko Slim in that they just run straight down. These Nando Nandos are awesome for those ambiguously dress coded events. I'd even wear them to work cos they're so black.

The shop keeper at the Uppear East Side store said to expect 2 inches shrinkage in waist and 4 (?!?!?!?) in length. I found the 2nd part hard to believe

  5. I am glad I have an understanding fiance. She said she is going to give me $100 toward my next pair of jeans (somet, or Jean Shop.) Now that's love! I buy a lot of old guitar amps and fix them up, she HATES it whenI get new amps. I have a half stack (that she hasn't seen) hiding in the garage. I realized recently that she only knows that an amp is new if I tell her about it. So I got this 1968 Fender Bandmaster the other day and I had it on the bench for repairs, she sat next to me and didn't notice that it was a new amp! I hope she doesnt notice the new guitar and amp that will be delivered to my work next week! So the moral of the story is, your significant other will probably not know that you got a new pair of jeans unless you tell her! So don't tell her!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so the moral of the story is, stick with repros, and in the end, they're all the same 501s.

If you're not willing to spend much, how do you stay interested in or up to date with products in this forum? most of the stuff posted go for at least twice the price you mentioned?

btw teach me how to find $0 flip flops pls

  7. Oh and since I am listening to it right now I will recommend Mylo - Destroy Rock and Roll and Royksopp!

    lol more good taste.

Royksopp's eple and 49 percent. genius.

Mylo is just one of those rare electro albums that you can run right through happily.

  8. if I was at my computer I would be able to offer some more. Check out Booka Shade, Vitalic, the new ELLEN ALLIEN & APPARAT and maybe Misc. I have a weird preference in the genre.
