sutter/ powell has saks; sutter/post has levi'; sutter/stockton has metier and wilkes bashford

rest of sutter has burberry, coach, thomas pink, armani, sak's men and boucheron. futher up sutter is gumps, and crocker galleria has versace and ralph lauren.

bottega store on grant, with frette, betsey johnson, chanel, and prada. vuitton store in front of neiman marcus. dior on stockton fronting union square.

  2. The SIlvercord Center has a lot of new shops, mostly again from the IT group. There is an IT store, double park, and APC. There is also an area by the second floor with a couple of shops, the only one of which I remember is X-large, but they were all good, and the doors were pretty cool.

The Corner of Peking and Canton Rd has Dior, Celine, Fendi etc. In front of it is Lane Crawford (dept. store). Along this same stretch on the Ocean Terminal is a long line of brands (Gucci, YSL, Prada etc) and a Joyce store. Inside has more brands, Missoni, Mulberry, Cacharel etc. Ocean Terminal is a big place with a lot of stuff.

The Peninsula Hotel Arcade has all the brands as well.

Which goes to prove that in Hong Kong, you get to see everything twice, thrice, 4 or five times, all within a insanely small radius.

  3. The Patterson Kingston Sts area is virtually IT-land. The have a lot of IT-group stores here. A big undergound IT store, Indivi, CHisato, Ozoc, 5cm, Double Park, Camper, and a new APC. CHeck out www.ithk.com for complete listings. There are two types of IT stores, those with uppercase and those with lowercaps. Those with uppercase are better.

Shine is also in the area, and there are other good stores here like Westwood, Cacharel and Blues Brothers.

Lee Gardens, which is a couple of blocks from Times Square, has all the bigger brands. Last I was there, they were building a Vuitton store like the Jun Aoki one in Roppongi.

  4. Landmark has everyone, Versace, Ralph, Missoni, Lanvin, Anna Molinari, Narciso Rodriguez (?). The shop I find nice is Prada Beauty near the MRT exit. Its a whitewashed space capsule of some sort.

Whatever isnt in the Landmark is around it. Alexandra Bldg. is all Armani, and the rest of the buildings have YSL, Burberry, Hermes and the like.

Joyce has a big store by Queens Rd also.

Pacific Place is connected to the Admiralty exit, and it has all the bigger brands as well. The Hong Kong Chloe store is here.
