    The Eyewear Thread

Hey SuFu, I'm having a bit of a hard time finding someplace or a brand that offers stylish or trendy eyeglasses. I'm looking for the plastic-framed kinds of eyeglasses, that I can actually use with prescription lenses. My current one is a Gucci frame, but I think its about time to get a new frame. Anyone know of any models or brands or even places to look?
  2. A pair of Oliver Peoples Riley glasses with prescription lenses (-3.5) that have never been worn. Colour is Moss Tortoise (refer to last photo for colour accuracy), comes with dust cloth and the original hard case. Made in Japan. Retail was $350 USD. Measurements: 48-21-146 $150 USD + shipping from Canada (unless you don't mind waiting until early May when I can ship from SF) (last photo is most accurate to the actual colour) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Authentic Anne et Valentin "Factory Two" in light tortoise -- discontinued style from the famous Factory line, impossible now to get this colour. Retail was $540 USD, handmade in France. Comes with original dust cloth and case. Has been used but still have years of life left. Only flaw to report, slight blushing to the acetate, in some areas like the arm. This is really not noticeable and happens naturally with age. Very slight dirt build up under arm joint, which should be easy to clean. Lenses are perfect zeiss lenses with no scratching or issues -- a great bonus if your prescription happens to match (Right eye = -450 Left eye = -425). Width across the front: 5.5 inches (including the edges which stick out from the side of the frame) Width of lens: approx. 2 inches (not including frame. with frame, would be about 2.1 inches) Height of lens: approx. 1.2 inches (not including frame. with frame, approx. 1.4 inches measured at highest point) Width of nose bridge: approx. .5 $130 USD + shipping from Canada (unless you're willing to wait until mid-May when I can ship from SF)
