As you are on the lookout for jeans with a tapered, high-rise fit, have you considered Lee 101 Cinch Tapered? It's made of awesome sanforized 16 oz. denim that fades like a boss, the construction is impeccable and the cut is precisely what it says on the tin, with a proper, PROPER high rise unlike the Japanese "high rise" pretenders.
