nishino in madison park, saito or shiro in belltown for real sushi.

wasabi for white people sushi.

all are delish.

agreed, and wasabi's sister restaurant (and my favorite) is Redfin. Umi Sake in Belltown has a really good happy hour there.

I can vouch for the happy hour at Umi. It's a good spot to pregame if you find yourself in Belltown (maybe you got lost I don't know).

I know this is a fashion forum and all, and perhaps I'm being presumptuous for assuming I'm invited, but would anyone else rather meet at a bar than at a botique?

Hattie's Hat?

A better idea would be Bush Garden in the ID. SuFu karaoke! Or just 2 for 1 bar appetizers and cheap, strong drinks.

I've heard they have pretty good food but I've never been. Bar meet sounds good to me.

Ballard isn't so bad! It's got Hattie's and King's Hardware, and there are some neat stores and things there.
