If you know something that the rest of us don't, then out with it.

Don't start idiotic rumors with nothing to back them up.

Did I say this was happening or was I suggesting it may be happening???

Do you not know what marketing, advertising, and public relations are?

It's okay if you don't, but what do you think plays a big role in driving this business????

Nothing wrong with being a puppet either my friend.

Mine too. Hope it comes soon. I want some more jeans (from the brand that's paying me, of course).

I'm interested in the future creation of a brand, but that was before I found Superfuture (not that I've changed my mind or anything). Should I still fuck off and go work for Old Navy? If I do, can I still re-register? Can I use a pseudonym or does my name have to be 'OldNavySpy'? Hmm? Maybe a little spywork? Little bit of a sleuth? Pretend to just look around? Maybe ask a question or two? Talk about jeans? Hmm? Crotch rivets and all that? Maybe bash Evisu? Pretend like I'm cool? Like I really don't care? Hmm?

a paranoid is someone who knows a little of whats going, one literary giant once said.

i don't doubt a second that it occurs, probably mainly in the street x hype sector. what i do doubt is that supertalk-owners has some role in it. it is simply what would be called buzz/viral marketing and is apparent at several forums and institutions for different sub-groups.

but who gives? you regularly know what you like. you might be affected in the means of recognizing the brand/whatever, but not manipulated.

i'm beginning to accept the fact that we have super-industries with a straight-cut moneymaking-agenda on their minds, but as long as they don't thrash the whole thing i'm satisfied.

Actually, its more common than most guys think. Off the top of my head i know that shitty brand Carpe Denim does it. When I lived in LA/played in a band, dickheads from all kinds of stupid fucking brands were coming in asking if wed rock their shit *coughVON DUTCHcough*.

i think that there's definitely a couple people that are paid for browsing here. i go to a business skool and i found out that people are hired by the publishing firms to put up a positive review whenever one of their books gets a negative one. so browsing these forums is definitely not suprising to me.
