i just got a pair of this season's white mountaineering socks.

great fair isle print, calf-length. some of the other season's socks are made from wool. these aren't though, it's 50% cotton, 32% acrylic, 14% nylon, 4% polyurethane. they run really narrow. a bit tight in the calf area, unless you've got stick legz.

^ i stocked up on those jcrew socks during sale as well. comfy

peeps who been posting socks on recent purchases are tempting me to go sock hunting! still love my black crew cuts from footlocker though, very comfy and construction is good (only one hole after 6+ month of wear and it occurred at the ribbing past ankle)

Bought a pair of Odyn Vovk socks.

Packaging reads:

Silvix Nano Antibacterial Fabric

Kills 99.9% of Bacteria

Non Toxic

Deodorizes

Rapidly Absorbs and Drys

35% Silvix Polyester

65% Cotton

I have no idea how this nanotechnology works, but it's keeping my feet comfy..

i spent more than $70 on socks this past year

i personally vouch for the woodlands wool socks

ps - i can't wear those thin uniqlo socks anymore. after about 3 wears, they rip. heavy duty wool socks are the only way to go.

man i was just telling someone how indestructible uniqlo socks are. what are you doing in these socks thats wrecking them?

you know that wolf is from the internet rite?

Yeah, knew about that; I like them regardless.

Just trying to build up a little collection of crazy socks here.

These Nepenthes socks are really dope

They're nice and springy. I have a pair of the black/grey melange ones

Here's a brand that popped up on a rakuten search;

called "phatee wear" .. some wierd shit going on with the pattern... (is it a row of candles?)

but i really dig the colors

Next sock? Maybe some Bape camo socks if they still have these in the NYC store.

The "bapenative pattern" they did is also pretty dope too

http://www.kapital.jp/e-store/

Pretty difficult to get most things Kapital besides their denim - and I only like everything besides their denim. Only one store in the US carries non-denim Kapital - they are apparently very exclusive about who they will sell to. Their non-denim stuff is basically American farm/gypsy workwear as imagined by a Japanese dude - pretty cool.

Those Muji recycled yarn socks are not too bad, and pretty cheap per pack (something like 210NTD for 3 pairs)... can't really pick colours per se, they come in mixed packs.

They have individual pairs which are more like Uniqlo's range.
