These are what inspired this thread in the first place. I was trekking around Europe and my vans were pretty much about to fall apart as I was walking in them, so I bought new ones. The old ones are about a year old

i should post my vans. way more thrashed than the OP's, and literally are about to fall apart. been meaning to buy a new pair for months, but i just hate the look of brand new white sneakers too much
